"Nice mid-level hotel in the heart of Avignon. A short walk from the train station and to the main shopping area with several restaurants. The owner/manager was very friendly and helpful with suggestions for sight seeing. The room was spacious and clean. The only caveat is that rooms on the upper floor are not suitable for travelers with physical limitations, as you need to carry up your luggage two flights of stairs, including a very narrow spiral staircase, to get to the top floor. He is extremely knowledgeable about the area and is trilingual (French, English, Spanish). His wife prepared a tasty breakfast in the charming dining room.
