"The staff was absolutely wonderful with the exception of the General Manager who was a bit crazy. I have never written that in a review, but I don’t know how else to describe her. Otherwise the hotel was fine. Not near the downtown at all, so that was a challenge, and the breakfast was all cold, but besides that, the hotel had AC (a plus) and was clean. More of a 3 star than a 4 star by US ratings."

The staff were incredibly polite, friendly, and always willing to help. The only small downside was that the restaurant menu had limited options. "This was a fantastic hotel! Very new so everything clean and up to date. Design and lighting very nice. Bed super comfortable. Room had everything you need (fridge, kettle, good-sized towels). Appreciated having a proper hair dryer and conditioner in the bathroom. Two buses go right from the Locarno station to the hotel and since the hotel offers you a Ticino ticket, I traveled all over the area without having to pay any extra fees in transportation. Staff super friendly, helpful, and present. Lots of options for breakfast. Hotel in a quiet area, but like I said with easy transport to train station. Nice running path along the river. Fitness room had foam rollers which were amazing to loosen up muscles after long days of hiking. Would definitely stay here again!!!! Thank you!"
