"The staff was super helpful and friendly. Very convenient location and a nice rooftop bar- again with a very nice staff. The only thing we didn’t like was the urban fee. We dont use ebikes or the fitness center. Id rather pay separately for the amenities i would use. But i would highly recommend this hotel."

"Customer service was poor. Staff seemed bothered to help guest. Market staff was rude. If you want to hold bags after check out there is a $4 fee cash, the staff demands cash even after telling them you don’t have any. Bathroom was dirty; hair in the bathtub, dusty surfaces and toilet was dirty."

"The reason I selected this hotel was because it is next door to the Met. I will perhaps use the hotel again for that reason, despite my experience. I arrived at the hotel around 9, knowing that check in was at 3pm. I just wanted to check my bag and go tour the city, since I had never been to New York before. Normally when you arrive at the front desk you are greeted and welcomed, that didn't happen. When I asked about things to see in the area they were somewhat hesitant, I asked the dooman on my way out, and got the same response. When I returned from the opera the evening staff were so extremely nice and helpful. They are part of why I would come back to the hotel. The condition of the room was not what I expected, wall paper peeling, ceiling had water damage, the AC unit had rust, and the toilet kept making sounds. I have pictures if you want to see them. Despite some of the conditions the hotel has great charm, especially the lobby.The roof top restaurant and the Mexican restaurant were wonderful. I hope this helps to make future visits for others and myself better."

"Very clean and well maintained, as is usually the case at a Sheraton. However, the staff, particularly those men standing around in the lobby, didn’t seem to know much about what was available when nor were they able to answer simple questions we asked. The fee that was charged allowed us $35 to spend. However, what was available was meager. Two drinks exceeded that amount. The location of this hotel however is terrific."

"Super convenient location for an option just outside of NYC, as the PATH train is steps from the exit. It also has a great bar/restaurant with an amazing view of the skyline over the Hudson. Our only issue was that we called to ask if we could check in early, and were told it was no problem. This lead to us heading there early, then when we got there we were informed about the early check-in fee. To be clear, my issue is not the existence of the fee, rather my annoyance is that we called to inquire and were not informed of the fee over the phone."
