Review Title: Sleepless Night Due to Abandoned Dog – Had to Leave Early
I had pre-purchased a four-night stay at the Marriott in Corona through Expedia. Unfortunately, night one was a complete disaster. There was a large German Shepherd left alone in the room next to ours, barking non-stop throughout the entire night. We barely got any rest.
Despite reporting the issue multiple times to the front desk, the situation was not resolved during the night. The next morning, the hotel staff apologized and said we would be refunded. We chose to check out immediately and never returned for the remaining nights.
It took several days just to get our bags back, and I'm still in the process of trying to secure a refund through Expedia.
While I am an animal lover and truly feel bad for the dog, this was not the environment I expected from a Marriott property. I would strongly recommend avoiding any hotels that allow pets unless they have strict policies in place to prevent this kind of situation.
Very disappointed with the experience. One star.
