This was a heck of an early start to climb Mt Sneffels. I was very lucky to get these wonderful colors after a 4.50am start. A night sleeping in the back of the truck at the trailhead. It was worth it as I managed to miss the afternoon storms.

"My son and I enjoyed our stay! Cozy lobby with a fireplace. Front desk staff offered great advice on hiking and dining in the area. Breakfast on site was very good and the room was cleaned nicely each day while we were out. We would stay here again, it was great!"

"We didn’t stay for long, but whatever we experienced was excellent. Loved the suite, the organization, little touches like great cookies and lemonade in the lobby. The view is spectacular, and the area is very nice. I loved the Village Market 5 mins away. The pool and spa are great. The lodge is expensive during the high season, so I’ll try to come back when the price is lower. Despite this, I didn’t feel ripped off like I did in some other hotels. Great job, Mountain Lodge!"
