We loved it here! Service was amazing. Loved being able to walk to the beach and enjoy local restaurants. It was also lovely to be so close to Old Town Rethymno! Will definitely recommend this hotel to any and everyone!
Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms were nice and facilities in the hotel were excellent. Breakfast had plenty of variety and good quality. We had a lovely 10 night stay and would come back in the future.
Really beautiful hotel, the staff made the holiday even better everyone was so helpful, friendly and so attentive! Rooms were fantastic so were the amenities :)
The staff and the hospitality are the best features of the hotel!
We have thoroughly enjoyed the daily breakfasts, the spa and its services, the pools, the beach, and our own plunge pool.
The live music and live DJ were also nice features to entertain the guests.
We would stay here again!
We have spent a wonderful week there.
We did arrive early and while the staff was showing us the hotel amenities, our hotel room was ready after the tour.
The room was spacious, very clean and modern with touch panels to control the lights and the AC.
The breakfast buffet in the morning offers a big variety of food.
The hotel staff is super friendly, very quick and everyone is making sure that you are well taken care of. A special thank you goes to Nicos our server, that made our stay very pleasant ☺️
We’ll be definitely coming back!
Amazing hotel with wonderful staff! Everything was very clean, and the rooms were modern, comfortable, and nicely designed. The breakfast offered a great variety of options, including fresh juices, so there was always something delicious to choose from. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and really enjoyed our stay!
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel in Crete. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating, making us feel truly welcome and adding a touch of luxury to our stay. The hotel and rooms were beautiful, and we loved having direct access to the beach. The food was delicious, with a fantastic variety at the buffet that catered to every taste. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Crete!
Fantastic stay, amazing breakfast, lovely staff, great pools, lovely location right on the beach. Can’t fault it. Even got some towels animals, flowers and a note for our honeymoon! Highly recommend.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
Great ammenities, comfortable rooms, good food and attentive staff. Excellent stay!
Lovely second stay at the Nautilux. We stayed in a patio hot tub room again, with half board, which suited us perfectly. The staff are all great, exceptionally friendly and professional. The hotel is one of the cleanest we have ever stayed in. There wasn’t much in the way of evening entertainment, but that suited us. The food was always freshly prepared, and delicious. The indoor spa is excellent and we enjoyed the steam room and sauna and a treatment. We also did palates and boot camp which was great too. One of the very best hotels we have stayed in!
Beautiful hotel, but falls short of 5-star luxury.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Nautilux, but it didn’t wow us. Beautiful architecture and rooms, but the experience felt more 3–4 star than 5-star luxury.
The seafront location is lovely, although Old Town is a 30–45-minute walk away. Electric scooters were handy for evenings out.
Breakfast was our biggest disappointment. Hot food was consistently cold, poached eggs had raw whites, there were no yoghurts, few dairy-free options and the same menu daily. Staff sometimes cleared tables before we’d finished. Freshly made omelettes, smoothies and avocado on sourdough would improve things.
The spa is small and relaxing, but there was a sewage-like smell near the showers. Sauna and steam room access costs extra. Both outdoor pools and our supposedly heated private plunge pool were freezing!
The gym is tiny, with restricted 30-minute booking slots, but the included yoga and Pilates classes were excellent.
Our room was lovely, with a comfy bed, wine on arrival and generous water replenishment. Twice-daily housekeeping was fantastic. However, the air conditioning seemed faulty, the toilet door wouldn’t shut properly, and mould around the sink smelled unpleasant. We also had to request a kettle and tea.
Lunch was expensive, and restrictions on outside food felt unnecessary. An app for ordering drinks to sun loungers would be a welcome touch.
Most staff were friendly, and the welcome lemonade was lovely.
Beautiful hotel, exceptional staff, quiet location, food was very good, cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, had a garden view so was quiet in the evening. Some lovely restaurants close by and about 45 min walk to old town.
