"Really lovely stay at the Last Word in Franschhoek. Staff very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was relaxed and of very high quality. Great location for walking into town. We loved our creme-brulee and hot chocolate at bedtime. Thank you."

"Lovely stay and exceptional staff. Cleanliness during our stay could have been improved as countertops were not wiped or floor sweeped. Crockery were washed but not packed away. Towels not replaced on 2nd day but dirty ones were taken away."

"Great location, a few minutes walk from town. Beautifully decorated and helpful staff who made sure we had breakfast items in our room bc we had to leave at 5:55am. The sit down breakfast was huge with a starter of meats, cheeses, croissants that my wife said were like being in France, ‘to die for’ then eggs Benedict or any style you like. Comfortable beds with heated blanket."
