"We stayed at the holiday inn for an overnight visit to york.. the staff were welcoming & friendly. We had booked a walk-in shower room as i am a mobility scooter user. When we got to the room it was smaller than what we had booked.. the staff apologised & very quickly sorted out a more accessible room it was well maintained.. We didnt eat in the hotel in the evening but had booked breakfast for the following day.. the food was plentiful. Well presented & hot there was also a very good choice..we were parked around the side/back of the hotel it wasn't an issue as there is access into the hotel from thethis was our 1st time staying in an IHG holiday Inn & it won't be our last.. thank you Tadcaster Road York"

"First time stay and very impressed. Had the family room, and the double and twin were big, plenty of space, good bathroom. Breakfast was excellent. Usual full English, plus plenty of help yourself continental, juice etc. Breakfast sandwich of bacon, mushroom and avocado was delicious. Check in easy."

"After finding my iPhone charger wasn’t compatible the staff were just so helpful it was awesome, she went to such lengths to find me a charger that worked was so appreciated. Room clean food ok it was the customer service that really made this memorable Highly recommended"

"Rooms fine but dated, had to ask to get breakfast pots refilled, not big enough for everyone so you had to wait a bit for breakfast, would probably stay again it's right in the centre of town 😉"
