"What a little gem of a resort! It’s important to know that almost everything on the island takes 30-45 minutes to get to because of the roads, not because of distance so slow down and convert yourself to island pace. We stayed for two nights and were charmed from the minute we arrived! The resort is immaculate and so quaint, and has the absolute best staff. "Location was awesome and grounds were beautiful. It was less than 5 minutes from the dive shop we used, easy to walk to (even with our luggage that we brought with us from th dive shop). "Heerlijke plek met een lekker lang zwembad en genoeg ligbedden. Fantastisch uitzicht over zee vanuit alle huisjes. De huisjes zijn netjes, maar niet overal even schoon. "My stay was fantastic from the tea kettle, the care package, the hot shower, the swim up pool, the entertainment and the food was delicous and the snorkeling tour to manta ray point was on point(which is reason for my visit)!!! The service was one big smile like the sunset. Only one thing is I had planned pick up at port and never showed up time wasted so just get in a taxi. Thanks Mambo!"

"The only thing that makes us uncomfortable is the bed - somehow the sheet is not washed properly so you kinda feel there’s bed bugs, so in the morning I got rash on my feet. Also, if you looking for a quiet place, this is not it because we hear people from next door constructions, vehicle, etc. This place is otherwise nice and in a great location. "

"Though I have been to Bali many times, this is my first trip with my partner to Nusa Pendida. The visit to Nusa Pendida followed our earlier stay on mainland Bali (Askara Canggu) in a villa type hotel where we were the only guests. The stay at Sunrise Cottage was from Oct 24-26 2024. I was expecting a villa with a private pool. However it turns out that there this wasn"t so when I arrived I was actually disappointed. BUT to be fair Sunrise Cottage on Nusa Pendida is actually a hidden gem....

"The ac was full of mould and I had bugs in my bed but I appreciated the great service and they offer very affordable tours and drivers which I loved. Staff are lovely. Lots of mosquitoes in bathroom area. "

"Our stay was amazing at the bungalow! Things just to keep in mind is you are in the middle of the jungle so we did find a lot of ants in our room and some other bugs but nothing that overly affected us. Other than that the rooms were in tip top shape and the staff was amazing. It is on a mountain so ask the receptionist about delivering food, it wasn’t overly expensive as well. They brought dinner and breakfast right to your door and we’re so kind. Would definitely stay again!! :)"
