We traveled to this resort with a group and booked two rooms. For half of our stay, we were upgraded to Preferred Club, which was a nice bonus. Overall, this is one of the nicest resorts we've stayed at in Cancun. The property is beautiful, spotless, and very well maintained. The staff was consistently friendly, attentive, and helpful. Our rooms were spacious, comfortable, and had gorgeous views. Our only real disappointment was the food. It was very hit or miss, and the buffet was probably our least favorite of any all-inclusive we've visited. The desserts, in particular, were unusual and generally not very appealing at any of the restaurants. We had kids ranging from 5 to 13 years old with us, and they all had an amazing time. There were plenty of activities to keep them entertained throughout the trip. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. If the food were improved, this resort would be hard to beat. We'd definitely consider coming back.

Pros: pools are nice, bartenders give good service, rooms are large and clean, easy for kids to eat whenever they want. The beach is actually very nice with cabanas for shade and good service from The bartenders. Long and difficult check in, food is not great at all, drinks never taste that good. Yes - there is some distance to the ocean, but you can see it. We had a beautiful room close to the beach. Our room was ground level, so obviously not the sweeping views you would get being higher up.

Staff went above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay. The only thing that was bothering was their vacation package presentation that took up a 1/2 day of my stay. Over then that everything was top tier. The restaurants were great with food and service. Housekeeping and room service was quick and reliable. Spa treatment were better than expected I would recommend dreams/secrets to anyone staying in Cancun

Overall, not bad and a good choice for families, but there are several areas that need improvement. The resort is very family-friendly, and we enjoyed our stay overall. However, the restaurants and bars were disappointing. The main swim-up bar (Mermaid Bar) was consistently understaffed, with what appeared to be only one bartender working throughout the day. I honestly never managed to order a drink there. The bartender seemed overwhelmed, rarely made eye contact, and often didn’t acknowledge guests waiting at the bar. Even after standing there for quite a while, I was never able to place an order. The drinks I had elsewhere at the resort were also below average. Another downside was that you cannot order food while at the pool. Every time my kids wanted lunch, I had to walk over to Tides, order food to go, and carry the plates all the way back to the pool myself. I never imagined I’d be delivering lunch to my kids at an all-inclusive resort. It completely took away from the poolside experience and felt like a major inconvenience. Most of the restaurants were only open on alternating days, and reservations were not accepted (except for the hibachi restaurant). As a result, expect to wait around an hour for dinner during peak times. The hibachi restaurant technically takes reservations, but they open at 1:00 PM and are usually fully booked within a minute. If you want a reservation, be prepared to refresh the app and count down from 12:59 PM. Otherwise, you will most like
