All the staff were great, especially Stephanie. The rooms were super nice and spacious. Yummy breakfast and close to the main square. Will definitely be back.
The Hotel Qalasaya is a unique modern hotel tower in the heart of bustling Puno, just off the main pedestrian boulevard. The room was clean and modern, with an excellent shower.
This hotel is located near the main plaza, yet in a quiet area. Everything was good, but the highlight of our stay was Gabriela at the front desk—she was truly the heart of this hotel. Kind, attentive, and always eager to help, she assisted us with everything we needed.
The only downside was the breakfast buffet. Plates and food items were often in short supply—for example, there were cornflakes available, but no bowls or cold milk.
Still, overall, we were satisfied with our stay. Gabriela’s kindness and exceptional service more than made up for these shortcomings.
Hotel is right in the middle of downtown. Close to restaurants and shopping everything's accessible qithinna block or two. The staff are fantastic and accommodating. The description of the hotel says the room has a balcony but it did not. It did have an outdoor area approximately 3x6 feet roughtly the size of a standio shower. The city is very noisy and a good night sleep is impossible. Revelers start around 2am, pre-recorded messages playing on loud speaker's on repeat every 15 seconds taxis or honking horns all night long. All of this goes on until 630am. The elevator wasnt working so qe had to clim stairs whichbis difficult at this altitude.
The staff at the front desk were wonderful, friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable, the rooms warm and the water hot. The location can not be better, walking distance to Plaza de Armas. The view from the restaurant looks over the Lake and the city. Terrific buffet breakfast. Highly recommended!
Front desk attendant (Hyvere???) was amazing. Room was not too clean and very old. The elevator was out of service for 2 full days which was very difficult. Breakfast was cold and not many options.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The only disappointment was that the elevator stopped working the evening we checked in. And being on the ninth floor, it made it tough to come and go freely for our stay.

The breakfast had moldy bread and not many options. Which make you think that you should not eat there. Our kids refused to go a second time for breakfast there.

No internet in spite of advertisement stayed on floor 9 internet only upgraded up to floor 5 …staff knew this but omitted to advise when checking in. No reception, manager not available …leaving staff that don’t speak any English to deal with problems. Had I known about tgeur internet issues …I would never have chosen this hotel .
For me it was a big ISSUE. For 3 days.
Got to the hotel at 6 am and the attendant was not in the lobby. I had to ring the bell several times. He finally showed up 15 minutes later. I had just arrived from an over night bus ride where my husband and i had gotten no sleep so we were a little cranky. Receptionist allowed us to check in early at a cost of 24 dollars extra. Nice hot tea in lobby was appreciated. Beautiful breakfast on the 10th floor with breathtaking views of the city

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
