"The place is amazing given that it is in the middle of a national forest. If you want to have a real snorkeling experience, book a trip to Menjangan island, and not just by the private jetty. While you will see fish off the jetty, the coral are mostly bleached. This is a beautiful place to reconnect with nature and enjoy the generous balinese hospitality."

"Such a wonderful villa! The ladies were wonderful and cooked all week for us, as well as kept the place nice and clean. The food was amazing and they were so sweet. My only issue was a group of young locals who would hang out by the ocean/pool area most nights who ended up stealing some things of ours. It was the same little group in their teens/early 20’s that would be there every afternoon into the evening. The first few days of our stay they hung out at the villa beside us, but then moved on to our area kinda overtaking our pool area and just sitting there for hours, two of them practically making out and all over each other. But that wasn’t the fault of the staff there by any means. "

"This was our second time staying in Batu Ampar Resort. The property is a 10-15 minutes walk from Pasir Putih Beach. The rooms are comfortable, the AC is cold, and the outdoor bathroom is a nice addition. The room was cleaned daily. The food is delicious, and the staff is absolutely lovely! "The house was wonderful and so was the staff. They all make you feel so welcomed and taken care of. It was so nice having a personal driver. He gave us recommendations on places to go and where to eat and served also as a tour guide. The ladies at home made us feel so loved and so taken care of. They were so incredibly sweet. The staff alone made the stay so worth it. The house is tucked away on the north part of the island and allowed you to feel secluded. Everything was clean and well taken care of.
