"The staff at checkin was super kind, even with our late arrival. Not sure there were many amenities though we grabbed coffee in the morning when checking out. A roadside motel property but upgraded rooms, super clean and all totally suitable for our needs. Really cute decorations at front entrance and property seemed well maintained. Would stay again if needed in the area."

"I stayed with my Girlfriend one night the evening was cozy and the room was nice clean the comforter was uncomfortable and the microwave was rattling the fridge temper was not properly cooling are drinks and the breakfast in the morning was stale and cold. Hoping if we do stay again in the near future the amenties and essentives are to standard."

"We were not sure what to expect before arriving at The Pell, but we had the most amazing stay. We didn’t want to leave and actually considered extending our stay. Our room was large and comfortable, everyone was so nice and helpful, and the food and coffee were great. The hotel was very close to all of the sites in Newport; location was very convenient. The price we paid for what we got was an insane steal and we will definitely be returning when we go back to Newport. One of our favorite trips to date."

"The location is fantastic- it’s right across from the beach and within walking distance of Cliff Walk. There are places to eat also within walking distance and a very short drive to downtown Newport. The room we had was clean and had a great view. The breakfast was a nice touch and any minor issue we had was handled promptly by the staff. (Needing another blanket or vending machine needing to be refilled!) Just note that the elevator is slow and a little small/clunky but it works and is up to code! It’s not fancy- more like a beach vibe- and was a great stay."
