Upon pulling into the property driveway, we immediately want to turn around and found a different hotel for the night, however, we'd prepaid for this one. Second, upon pulling into the property was wondering where the entrance was. Going up the worn, dingy stairs into the lobby felt eerie. The lobby felt dark and unwelcoming. The desk attend was okay - friendly and professional... But WHEN he asked me to fill out my credit card information (all of my CC information) for incidentals on a piece of paper, everything in my being shouted "NO!!!" I told him that, but he gently explained that that was how they have to do it... that they don't have any other way. I started to complete the form, but again the voice in my head shouted "NO!" I stopped & refused. I offered cash, but that wasn't acceptable. Finally, we agreed on me writing a note with my phone number on the other check-in form. ~ The room was clean, sufficient, and quiet (because there really weren't many other people staying there). The bed was comfortable. HOWEVER, the too small (width & length) didn't fully cover the window or shut out the light outside of it. Oh, and the view out of the window was a block wall of another building about 18 inches away. ~ We would absolutely NOT stay here again and recommend to anyone who asked to look elsewhere.
