"Family of 6, from the U.S., staying 3 nights. The hotel is very dated and needs a makeover. The beds were hard but that seems to be common in Brazil. There seems to be a lack of amenities at hotels in Brazil. No washcloth, no tissues, no stationary. For what this room costs I expected more and in a little better condition. The area is very quiet, but I wouldn't recommend walking anywhere. The positives: The location on the beach is great. Breakfast was very good and so was dinner. Shuttle runs to Beach Park every 15 minutes. The staff were very friendly and tried their best with English. Family suite has connecting rooms with 3 beds in the other room and its own bathroom. That alone is perfect for families. "

"I just stayed for a Night coming from the airport and moving in the next day. But everything was wonderfully clean, everyone was super nice and breakfast was amazing. Thanks for this great welcome to brasil 🤗"

"The public areas are very nice, but the rooms are very old and in disrepair. All of the windows were broken in our room, the air conditioner was rusted, and the control unit was falling off the wall, the sliding door to the patio could not be locked, and it was this way in all of the rooms at the hotel. it took us an hour and a half to check in because we had to wait in line and switch rooms two times. We were told by the maintenance guy that all of the sliding doors did not lock on the patios, but it was a safe area. Upon checking out, they charged us a 10% service fee, when I asked them what it was for they said to cover the cost that they had to pay Expedia! They did not have an iron so we could not iron our clothes. The steamer they had was not available for three days so we went out and wrinkled clothes to have dinner. everything closes early around the hotel which has very limited options in the area. The main beach by downtown is much much better. It is the only hotel in the area and there are several abandoned lots around the property. Lots of glass and broken debris from torn down buildings along the beaches. Be careful walking in the sand, lots of glass bottle caps, and broken pieces of tile. Service in the restaurant is terrible. The managers in the white shirts did absolutely nothing except play on their phones and talk to each other while we were walking around looking for silverware. The lights in the hotel are turned off at night. "

"Hotel is in good condition, clean and well staffed. Food was good and both breakfast and dinner had plenty of options. The beach is amazing and easily accessible, with permanent facilities like chairs, and straw beach huts, with the staff being very friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable and spacious, with AC working well and a nice porch, although it had only two chairs, no table or chaise, and wasn’t really very comfortable to use. The only main problem during our stay was with the fitness center, most equipments were on maintenance, without a basic treadmill (absent, not broken), an issue for a runner like me when the weather is not ideal for outdoor training. If possible, choose a villa instead of the apartment, they are really nice and is the main attraction of the resort. We tried to upgrade our reservation but we were told the hotel was 100% booked, although villas seemed to still be available online for the period we were staying. Also, consider the hotel is about 1h away from the main city, Fortaleza, so it’s perfect for a stay-in-the-resort kind of vacation, but not very convenient if you also enjoy a good city dining or nightlife. Plan accordingly, traffic in Fortaleza is a bit unpredictable."
