"Stayed here four years ago and loved it. Came back this time for our anniversary, let the front desk know the occasion upon arrival. Resort didn’t make any gestures to make the occasion special the entire stay. I let the front desk know that the glass divider for the shower had a large crack running through it. There was a stain on the bench at the in room dining table and the outdoor fireplace wasn’t working. The resort was not busy. The only offer provided was to move us into a room with a less desirable view. I declined, they completely ignored the inoperable outdoor fireplace for three days. Calling room service often took 2-3 calls to get someone to answer the phone. The stay was underwhelming. For this price I’ve had better experiences and service. We also traveled with our kids. At times it felt like we were at a 60+ resort, did not feel family friendly. "

"We stayed on Thursday 2/28/26. Thankfully they let us check in one hour earlier (I did call beforehand to request it). The hotel allows you to do check in online beforehand and that was helpful. The hotel was quiet and we had a king room with a small deck and it was perfect. Bed was a little firm, but the room was very clean. No tv's, no internet in the rooms which was actually nice because we enjoyed sitting outside for the evening. Would love to come back and sightsee some more in the area. Also because our trip was short, we didn't get to try the restaurant so I can't comment on that. "

"Beautiful view. Nice to stay in quaint older lodge. No contact checkin and checkout. The ocean view rooms were sold out, but they looked really nice with chairs outside to soak in the view. So I would try to book earlier and get one of those next time. Easy parking, Tasty blueberry bread, eggs and juice and coffee available for breakfast. A great stop between Pinnacles NP and Channel Islands if you are touring National Parks."

"We had an amazing stay! The home was clean, spacious, and full of cozy nooks for reading and relaxing. Even with cold, rainy weather, the heated tile floors were a godsend, and our 96-year-old father could navigate the property easily.The kitchen was well-stocked with quality cookware and dishes, making cooking simple and enjoyable. We loved the hot tub—even in the rain—and the cute workspace/gaming area was a fun bonus.The location was perfect—within walking distance to restaurants and wineries, and ideal for day adventures to Monterey and Carmel-by-the-Sea. The property managers were professional, responsive, and quick to help with any questions or troubleshooting, making the stay seamless.Highly recommend this property for comfort, convenience, and a cozy, accessible experience. We would gladly return!"

"Room had no heat but we were taken care of and moved to a beautiful suite. Yoga classes well run on time Yurt was warm. Drivers prompt professionals we had lots of rides because of RAIN food was super delicious much better than Vantanna "

"The location was quiet and secluded, which was great. We were three couples, and having three full bathrooms was very convenient. Communication with the owner was quick and easy, and they kindly explained how to use everything in the house, so there were no inconveniences.The view from the house was also really nice, and the amenities were well-equipped."
