Hotels near Porthmadog Station

"We booked a 1 bed apartment to sleep 4. The room was all set up for arrival with sofa bed and single bed in the lounge and double bedroom. Plenty tea coffee and biscuits. The room was clean and in good condition. Kitchen space was a little basic if you wanted to cook a meal. We didn’t cook but I noticed we were missing a sponge to be able to wash up the mugs we used (nothing major) and there looked to be an electric stove thing in the draw if you wanted to cook in the pans provided. The fridge was a decent size for a hotel. We ate in the restaurant one night and were pretty disappointed in the food especially for the price so opted to eat elsewhere the following nights of our stay. Breakfast was fine and something for everyone. Cereals, fruit, yoghurts, typical English fry up to help yourself to. There were vegetarian options on request too. It did feel like they had skeletal staff on in the restaurant and at breakfast. But the ladies working there were all really helpful with anything we needed and worked none stop. "

"This is a lovely hotel with great views and is also dog-friendly (which is why we originally chose it). The standout element has to be the service — Leah and the whole team are incredibly welcoming and put in next-level effort to ensure we had the best stay. If you’re not staying at the hotel but in the area, the new bar is super recommended! There are some lovely pubs but it’s definitely going to be a top spot. We’ll be back this summer for sure now. "Very lovely holiday cottage with beautiful sea views. The apartment was immaculate and very comfortable and provided everything that we needed for our four night stay. Parking is very close to the cottage for ease of unpacking, and Porthmadog town is only a short walk away. We went on some lovely coast walks starting from the cottage, and a visit to nearby Portmeirion Village that is only a five minute drive away. A very relaxing outlook from the lounge window directly onto the sea was the icing on the cake. We will definitely be returning!"
