Hotel Villa Harmony

"It’s a well presented, welcoming and clean hotel. Recently refurbished has modern features but decor is old fashioned in style. VH is very well located for a pleasant walk to old town and proximity to the beach, some good nearby local restaurants and bars. Breakfast was generous, fresh and offers prepared-to-order eggs alongside a well stocked continental buffet. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. (I had to do some work at short notice with a tight deadline and they were very helpful getting documents printed.) The hotel bar serves an excellent martini. Closes at 10pm. The toiletries provided reminded me of my grandmother’s bathroom - think fragrant, floral body creams and bars of hand soap. Some small but annoying downsides… the mini-fridge struggles to get more than a degree or two below room temperature; There is no iron in the room (available on request, but removed each day); housekeeping knocked the door three times, despite the ‘do not disturb’ light being on; the indicator lights on the smart room tech hub stays on very bright all night (there’s no sleep mode); we had to ask for fresh toiletries despite the room being serviced and clearly being out of shower gel. On the upside, the room is very well sound-proofed; the a/c is excellent and can drop the room to 16oC, pool-side bar service via QR code is quick and efficient. Overall, I would best describe this hotel as a faded four-star rather than aspiring five-star."

"We had a great stay at the AC Marriott Split. The hotel is modern, clean, and located in the impressive Dalmatia Tower, which, according to the staff at check-in, is the tallest building in Croatia. The location is very convenient, about a 12-minute drive from Split Old Town or less than a 30-minute walk. It’s also a great base if you’re planning to explore areas outside of Split, as getting in and out of the city is relatively easy. The hotel also has indoor parking, which was a big plus for us. They also have an indoor pool but be aware that it is not accessible for kids under 16 years old. Overall, a comfortable and convenient place to stay, especially if you have a car and plan on exploring beyond Split."

"Great hotel with excellent service. The location eas perfect for us, its a short 10 minute walk to thd old town but far enough out yo escape the crowds. The pool are is lovely with enough loungers etc. It gives you a place to relax after wandering through the city. The gym is excellent for the size of the hotel and was immaculate. Breakfast is a buffet or a la carte menu included ."

"Lovely staff who were very communicative. The location was fantastic! Right in the heart of the city centre. Despite this, the windows made the room very sound proof. The room was cosy and clean. There were no lifts, stairs only, but these weren't steep or difficult to climb."

"Location, excellent. 15minute walk from old town. 3 minute walk from the beach. Breakfasts great. Staff friendly and helpful. Special mention for Ana. Incredibly professional and engaging. Rooms lovely, well equipped and spotlessly clean and quiet. Bed comfortable. Can’t speak highly enough of this hotel. Have a feeling prices will increase next year… We hope to return."

"Loved my stay here ! The room was lovely, modern and stylishly appointed, likely done just recently. Staff were warm and provided excellent service, great with recommendations for restaurants, activities and a running trail for my morning jog. A great spot, easy walking distance to everything and a public car park nearby for those as concerned s put parking as I was."
