The rooms were large and beautiful. Beachy and upscale vibe. Location on the water was perfect and the restaurant attached was excellent. Breakfast with the restaurant windows open a stunning view and a great coffee!!!

My sister and I enjoyed our 3 night stay at Rydges Port Macquarie this month (Sep-2026). We were there to visit my sister's son and family while his daughters were performing in the their primary school's spectacular which was held at the Glasshouse a few metres away from the hotel. We had a wonderful time.

TV turned on by itself in the middle of the night while we were asleep and no one was touching the remote control. Hotel amenities are just okay. Price per night is way too high and not to mention parking is not free. Beding was comfortable and overall the room was clean though.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rydges Port Macquarie. A great location. Central and within walking distance of all the restaurant and shops. Great water views. Clean and very well presented. The buffet breakfast was very good as were the cocktails and pizzas. We would highly recommend staying here and we will definitely stay here again.

This hotel has been renovated with the creative decor being calming with many surfing photos. The meals we had in the restaurant (with its top view) were really good, while the staff there were outstanding. So too the reception staff. Loved the pool, spa and gym with their fabulous outlooks over the river.
