STARFISH ON STRADDIE

"We love Starfish on Straddie. We stay every year and always enjoy our stay. Carolyn is a great host. There is a pod coffee machine that takes Nespresso style pods. Every year we notice work being done on the cottage which is great - from lounge suites, to the little front deck, work is always being done to improve and update. When there is a problem (not that they are big problems - like running out of washing powder) the response is quick. Highly recommend staying here. Our doggie also gives 5 stars."

"the accommodation needs a lot of attention. Whilst this is located centrally on the island and within walking distance to beach and pub the cleanliness of the accomodation was 4/10. For the amount of money you pay you would expect the place to be in a better condition, however, we find this with a lot of the houses on Stradbroke Island, the attention to detail is not there, big cobwebs everywhere, broken slates, missing remote controllers to air con units, sand everywhere."

"Lovely home, perfect location, gorgeous outlook. Spotlessly clean. Wifi would be a great addition as would some cushions on the outdoor furniture and curtains/blinds in the kitchen/dining area for warmth/privacy. Otherwise wonderful and would happily stay again :)"

"Samarinda Green is in a wonderful position, close to both Mooloomba shops and Cylinder Beach. The house is light, spacious and comfortable, and it is really well set up for kids and dogs!"
