The hotel was lovely, the room was big enough but the barroom looked a bit tired ( maybe it was the choice of colour). Good amenities, we loved the proximity to the beach and the fact that there was shade when you needed a respite from the scorching sun. We tried most of the restaurants and they were good and the breakfast choice was very diverse.

This was a very beautiful hotel in an amazing place. The vibe is luxurious but not pretentious. We encountered helpful staff that efficiently booked us last minute tours and transportation. We especially enjoyed the breakfast. It was a huge spread of delicious food. The room we had was sparkling clean and spacious. We enjoyed the large balcony. This hotel is outside the main city and old town area so you will have to use rideshare or other transportation methods to get around but it's not too far. The only other downside is that it is quite expensive but the rates do seem in line with what you get with this resort.

We can highly recommend the Le Meridian hotel outside Split on the beach. Be aware that it is a good 20+ minute ride out of town. That being the case, don't get into a cab unless you negotiate in advance the price of the trip. We were conned into a cab ride from the marina and the driver tried to charge us 75 Euros to get to the hotel. We were saved by the terrific hotel doorman, Mike, who seems to know everyone and was very helpful in fending off this cab driver. We eventually found a wonderful cab/uber driver who was fare and efficient. We used him for all our travel after that. I will list his contact at the end of this review. The hotel staff was very helpful and polite. We cannot say enough about everyone who worked there. We also liked the restaurants at the hotel - good food and very well run and managed. The only objection we had was access to the beach which was through the reception area and the strange way they monitor the beach and the beach towels. They do not want people traipsing through the lobby of the hotel in bathing suits, but it is hard to dodge the reception area because of the location of the elevators to the pool and beach area. Beautiful hotel with a nice new walkway along the beach to visit other restaurants and feel the ocean breeze. A great way to spend a birthday and they were so accommodating with a cake in the room. We were super sad to have to leave.

It was one of the most enjoyable experience staying this hotel. I had ocean view with terrace. Very pleasant to lol at ocean. The room was good size and very comfortable w fridge and hot water makers. Bathroom was renovated. The staff cleaned well every day. The service of staff was impeccably attentive and friendly. Front desk, breakfast servers, bartenders and staff at lobby bar. Club sandwich at bar was delicious. I like the fact it was cut into small pieces. View from bar was really nice to look at ocean also. The breakfast buffet was awesome. Large selection of food and beverages. Special thanks to the lady who cooked omelette for me. ( sorry I didn’t ask her name ). All staff working at breakfast buffet was above and beyond great service. The landscape was well maintained. I really liked jasmine. I liked the beach. I brought beach shoes against small rocks. ( I am glad I did ). Water was gorgeous. Italian restaurant had good food and attentive. One must make reservation at ocean club. I really enjoyed the massage and facial treatments done by Sonja at Spa. I highly recommend it. Nice sauna and steam bath too. If anyone goes to Split during morning rush hour, one must prepare taking 45 minutes due to morning rush hour traffic. Any other time, it takes only 15 minutes. During rush hour, it took almost 20 minutes for taxi to come. ( uber took 15 minutes to come ). I highly recommend this hotel to stay. One can enjoy beach.

The hotel is a resort- like set up. On a Marina with large beautiful boats. Has a nice pool overlooking the beach and the indoor pool for those looking to get out of heat! The tiered lounging spots nestled on a hillside amongst the pines. Plenty of refreshments everywhere. 5 nice restaurants on premise. Just lovely and staff very friendly!

Lovely hotel with lots of amenities and nice areas

Very large hotel with lots of different areas and things to do. Plenty of sunbeds. Boat trips run direct from resort. Our room didn’t include meals but lots of nice areas to eat and drink . Pebble beach but sand when stepping further out into the sea. Only stayed 3 nights but could happily stay longer.

The chef manager is absolutely amazing and genuine. He truly made my trip and provided me a sense of comfort. The resort is beautiful and it is nice to be outside of the old town. I would recommend that house keeping do extra sweeps of rooms - I had a nail in my fridge. The bed were not that comfortable nor were the showers.

Location, beach, food, rooms AMAZING

From the moment you walk through the front doors you experience luxury. The hotel is so clean, staff are friendly, rooms + view AMAZING. The food is phenomenal. Beach is so nice, the only con would be the pebble beach with young kids, but nonetheless everything is 100/10. Cannot wait to visit again!

Property was terrific-- everything you need on property such as restaurants, fitness center, great beach, etc. Only complaints are that the rooms are VERY small, and the prices are VERY big.

A true 5 star and true luxury. Best place to stay if you'd like to be by the water. It's kind of far from the old town (30-40 mins drive, because there is always traffic), but totally worth the drive.

One of the ladies in reception, Mia, was amazing in making sure our stay was enjoyable and comfortable since I recently had knee surgery. She made sure to get me a room near the elevator to minimize how much I had to walk around, it is a large property.
