We had a wonderful family vacation at Grand Velas Riviera Maya. Excellent food (especially Cocina de Autor, Frida, and Piaf) and beautiful property. We highly recommend spending time at the Zen pool - a really magical, relaxing spot. The staff were all really wonderful, friendly, and helpful. All 3 of our kids - ranging from age 4 to age 14 - had a great time. We would certainly come back again!!

The dinner & restaurant food is very good. Daytime & bar food is mediocre at best. Certainly NOT what you’d expect for the price point of the resort. The beach area is not good… pretty much stayed poolside all week not. Would not recommend this resort for the amount it costs.

World class. Will 100% return.

World class at every level. The facility was incredible. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Grounds were perfectly manicured. Pools were immaculate. The restaurants were excellent. The food was very, very, very, high quality as were the cocktails (a lot of which were originals). We stayed in grand class and it was 100% worth it. The staff was the literal best and most attentive I’ve ever experienced at any resort in the world.

Nice and large resort with different views and themes for each section of the resort. The “jungle” building is actually nice too even it’s not beach front. It’s quite and very zen.
