"This is a truly beautiful historic building right beside the Cathedral. The architecture is just exquisite and the restoration process must be an ongoing task. It feels a privilege to stay here. Our only reservation and which is why I deducted a star is that the furnishing is very typical of a Parador and our beds felt quite damp when we went to bed. Breakfast is good but incredibly busy so you need to book your slot"

"The staff was great. The location is great. The room itself was really nice and spacious. However the air conditioning didn’t work during my stay, which is why I specifically selected this hotel in the midst of a heat wave. The hotel adjusted the cost for me which was really nice and they were amenable to that. The garden/patio area, however, is also not accessible like a regular hotel. You can’t go out after 9pm which isn’t ideal when you want to relax in fresh air and just have outdoor space,...

"Great hotel in a superb location after finishing the Camino, allowing exploration of the city without to much additional walking. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. My only suggestion for improvement would be tea/coffee facilities in the room but these has been a theme throughout our journey in Portugal and Spain."

"The property is situated near the churches and main tourist attractions. I appreciated the helpful staff and the lovely bakery vendor next to the hotel who assisted me contacting the management upon check in as my phone got some issues. The rooms are nice 'though there's no aircondition or elevator. Our stay reminds me of the old, classic spanish era with a modern touch. Love it!!!!"
