Great place to stay

My daughters traveled to Pittsburgh for a concert and everyone was very accommodating. The inn is beautiful and although my daughters did not get to enjoy much time they would go back.

one of the best inns we have stayed

This was one of the best inns we have stayed so far (no exaggeration). The cleanliness was incredible. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable we had a great night's sleep. All shared spaces (living rooms, dining room, leisure room, etc.) were delightful and we admire the owner's knack for interior design. It's a place we'd love to stay longer again. Breakfast was delicious and we met the friendly host.

Overnight at the Oakmont Inn

Outstanding place for an overnight stay, everything you could possibly want was there. Felt like home with the added benefit of someone there to take care of every household duty. Price is comparable with another high class accommodations in the area but in our case it was only a few miles from our nephews wedding venue. Hopefully we will be able to book again the next time we are in the Pittsburg area.

5 stars!!

In Pittsburgh for Pitt graduation but wanted to avoid staying city center. I found the Oakmont Inn which proved to be perfect for our needs. Our room was luxurious in all ways with the bed, pillows, and linens on par (hee hee ) with any 5 star hotel. Even though we were the only guests a full breakfast was presented with something for everyone. The Inn was immaculate and our host welcoming. He was amiable, allowing us to leave our car on-site, using a short Uber ride back and forth to graduation. Just across the road is the world class Oakmont Golf course. Everything about our stay was perfect, I highly recommend and will stay here for future trips to Pittsburgh.

The inn is well maintained and comfortable. The only thing that was less than perfect was that the window blinds in our room were wholly ineffective at darkening the room. The room was flooded with light by 5:30 a.m. Not a problem for us as we had to be up super early but someone who likes to sleep past dawn would find it difficult.

Very comfortable stay

Lovely updated property, with very nice amenities that you don’t typically find in a facility of this size. The manager is very accommodating and friendly. The Inn is by far the best option in this area.

Beautifully decorated for Christmas! Such a treat!

Glenn was an amazing host and always very helpful and friendly. The Inn was so beautifully decorated for Christmas- absolutely gorgeous! I especially enjoyed my coffee by the fireplace each morning while Christmas music played throughout the Inn. The room was spacious and immaculate and more than I could have hoped for. I felt spoiled for the whole trip. I'll be back and will bring my family so they can enjoy it too.

Wonderful little inn! Beautiful rooms, vases of fresh flowers in the dining and common areas; fantastic new gym with a sauna; delicious quiche(!); thick towels and bathrobes; and a very comfy bed! Even nicer than the website showed. And Becky (weekend hostess/manager) couldn’t have been more inviting. Our new go-to place when we visit our kids at Pitt and Duquesne! Highly recommend!

Everything was great! Check-in went smoothly. The staff was very friendly and gracious. The facility was beautiful and very clean and spacious. They had lots of amenities like the gameroom, the weight room, the sauna, etc. Our room was nice and comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved the breakfast buffet.
