Disappointing

Staff were amazing and could not be more helpful but the hotel was impossible to locate as it had no sign and was different to the Google maps photo on street view. The room was basic and there was mould in the fridge and bathroom, the shower would flood the entire bathroom after a mere minute, paintwork was chipped and falling to bits and there were holes in the wall that looked to be filled in with some sort of hardended gel? The hotel itself was cluttered and unclean, we also saw a rat coming down the stairs from the 3rd floor to the balcony on the second floor, because there is no door to the 3rd floor as the stairs are outside and there was a full bin with a food container on the floor for left for over 24 hours. It's a cheap hotel but I won't be rebooking any time soon.

Quick stop in Phnom Penh

Hotel is well situated around a lot of bars and restaurants while the rooms are still nice and quiet. The bar attached was a great atmosphere.

You get what you pay for

Although the staff was great and did anything you asked the rooms are not great. But you get what you pay for . The pool was dirty and full of rats so i didn't want to use it. Food was great in the bar though but full of dirty old men but all of phnom penh was so couldn't wait to leave the country. Best thing about the stay was the food and staff.

Photos are very misleading, this place feels like a brothel. It’s a bar with some rooms above it, no hotel services at all, we stayed 6 nights and had 2 towels to use for the entire stay. The pool is basically in the bar, just steps away from the billiards table. The stairs leading up to the rooms go up the outside of the building at the back, and we were greeted by a large rat running down the stairs one night. I’ve stayed in very rustic hotels in Phnom Penh and hostels in many countries, I’m not afraid of rustic budget accommodations, but I would never stay here again, it was truly awful. The only good thing about it is the bed was comfortable, and there were no bedbugs! But the only bedding was a bottom sheet and top sheet, no blankets.

Spartiate mais correct pour le prix

Hôtel des bikers de PP quartier populaire et central donc très sonore et vivant confort très rustique néanmoins satisfaisant,ne pas hésiter à demander pourquoi on a du mal à fermer la porte de sa chambre , on vous donnera la solution rapidement, la proximité du marché central et des quais vous sont très faciles d’accès à pied pour le reste en fonction de vos envies tout est assez simple pour ceux qui adorent les front office oublié on s’adresse à la barmaid pour les clés

Simple rooms but great location and great bar/food

Nice cozy place in the middle of Phnom Penh. Had a small room but a very big bed. A bit hard to cool down the room, but if you are not allergic to the tropical heat then it’s not a problem. Fan in the room also helped. As stated in the name there is at street floor a nice saloon. ere you can get great food and great beer. The staff are really excellent and makes the place worth staying at. The pool is not really something to pick the hotel. But if you want to stay at a nice cozy place with a good bar pick this place.

I had the lowest priced room so did not expect much. Bed, bath very simple. All was fine except the number of small children running around early in the morning - before 7 am. The children were often in pool area which due to it’s small size did not allow for guests to swim. People were nice and room acceptable.

The Sundance Inn on street 172 has a bar with a pool table. There's also a pool (which I didn't try.) Most any time of the day there are usually several ex-pats in the bar having a beer and something to eat. The food is good and priced right IMHO. The room I had was fine, the AC was good and the ceiling fan helped move the cool air around. There was a T.V. but I didn't watch it. The Wi-fi is ok. I've stayed at this place twice, I'll keep coming back. I recommend this place. Laundry service is available, I was told the shirts would be ironed, (they weren't.)There is a laundry 2 doors down that Irons your cloths.

Hotel has been allowed to age a little, and could do with a make up, however Staff are very friendly and rooms very clean. Good prices in the bar .Food average but again cheap. Great location for walking to the river front and visiting the local markets etc.Tuk Tuk drivers around this hotel are all polite and will give fair prices for trips.

Do yourself a favor and stay at Sundance on 172!!!

Sundance Inn & Saloon on 172 is a great place to stay while in Phnom Penh. Clean and comfortable and affordable. Really nice swimming pool. The restaurant has awesome food at a great price and there’s also a free pool table. The bar is fun and friendly and lots of interesting people to talk to and help you get acclimated to Phnom Penh. Live sports on the big screen TVs. Dusty, the bar manager is incredibly helpful in pointing out things to see and do in the city and was a big help to a Phnom Penh first timer. Harry, the owner is awesome and will make sure you’re looked after and have a great time. Good live music some nights. So... clean and comfortable, awesome prices and value, friendly staff and patrons, delicious food and drink at affordable prices... what’s not to like? Do yourself a favor and stay, eat and drink at Sundance Inn & Saloon on 172!

Simple. Room is very small, but sufficient for solo traveler. Many shops, bars and restaurants around. Personal is friendly. Code safe box in room, TV and Internet. Bar on the first floor, beer 1$.

Hotel décevant, si ce n'est sa localisation.

Le personnel était désagréable si ce n'est les personnes s'occupant du ménage qui étaient très gentilles. Mauvais accueil, expéditif, alors que nous venions darriver de France. Bon point, ils ont envoyé qq1 nous chercher à l'aéroport mais cette personne même si c'est très agréable nous a de suite demandé de l'argent alors que nous n'avions pas encore pris le temps de retirer de l'argent. Pour le reste chambre décevante, mauvais WiFi, mauvaises canalisations. L'hôtel reste cependant bien placé et peu bruyant malgré l'emplacement. Expérience globalement décevante. Nous sommes encore au Cambodge en ce moment et ne rencontrons que de meilleures expériences à prix plus bas.

C'est simple... les photos ne correspondent pas du tout à l'etablissement. On a l'impression de réserver un hôtel de qualité et l'on tombe dans un bar qui loue des piaules. L'hôtel est sale et bruyant. Après avoir visité les chambres nous sommes tout simplement parti en perdant nos réservations pour trouver un hôtel correct. Et comme c'est non remboursable vous avez tout compris. S'il suffit de mettre des photos correctes il y a arnaque...

L'accueil est très sympathique et le responsable est toujours souriant et à l'écoute. Seul bémol et pas des moindres : notre chambre donnait sur la rue et il y a beaucoup trop de bruit la nuit !

A good informal well run, hospitable place to stay

All was well, it is a very well run and very friendly small hotel. A good location and all that you need is right there, either at the hotel or really very close by. Atmosphere really relaxing and friendly, the good management staff also very friendly and as helpful as possible. The in house food of all varieties was quite excellent, so much so that you really do not have to look anywhere else for eating and drinking satisfaction... Yes all great...! From Hamish, 12/12/17

2nd time at sundance

This stay was just as good as my first! Stu and the girls work hard to make sure everything is perfect for your stay. I have only given some a 4 star as there was work being done on the top floor with new tiles being layed so it's was a little dusty and we had to climb over thing to get to our rooms, the work was almost finished when we left and it looks alot better! drinks and food still one of the best places in PP I have been too so would stay again on my next visit.
