Area around hotel felt very unsafe. Lots of hoodlums hanging around. Found out later that hotel has a very bad reputation in the surrounding area. Know as a drug hangout. This explains alot.

Pevely is a small town with not a lot to offer but we didn’t stay there for the town, it was close to St Louis.
