"The host was lovely, however, the property smelt very strongly of tobacco and/or marijuana causing an asthma attack (despite being non-smoking). The property is not private as the host’s Mother resides downstairs and there are curtains missing from the windows etc. Having read positive reviews by other guests we were excited to stay at this property, however, had to leave within 20 mins of arrival and check into hotel based on smell. "Fairly recent refurbishment means everything is modern. Wonderfully comfortable bed, cabin shower room & plenty of USB charging points. A TV but only tab & chair in the room but a bar in reception. Restaurants nearby. Has restored my faith in IBS Hotels - well done"

"Wir hatten dort einen wundervollen Urlaub und haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Hosts waren außergewöhnlich nett, herzlich und hilfsbereit. Das Haus war fantastisch vorbereitet, sehr gepflegt und hervorragend ausgestattet – es hat wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Auch die Umgebung hat uns begeistert: wunderschöne Wälder, herrliche Wanderwege und faszinierende historische Stätten machten jeden Tag zu einem besonderen Erlebnis. Gleichzeitig gibt es in der Nähe viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und gute Restaurants, sodass alles bequem erreichbar ist. Am schönsten war aber oft einfach das Gefühl, „zu Hause“ zu sein – zur Ruhe zu kommen, die schöne Atmosphäre zu genießen und vollkommen zu entspannen. Ein wunderbarer Ort zum Erholen, Entdecken und Genießen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können diese Unterkunft von Herzen empfehlen!"

Large, completely renovated country house with swimming pool

"A superb property in a very rural location. The house was spotless and a perfect size for our group of 15 (8 adults and 7 children aged between 6 and 13).The pool is beautiful and a great size to allow for proper swimming as well as the splashy games for the kids. The kitchen and communal areas both inside and out are really spacious and there is more than enough seating for everyone. The outside space is outstanding with a quieter shaded area by to pool and the addition of the patio cover is brilliant.Communication with the hosts was great and although we didn’t need anything while we were there, the information provided was excellent. It was really hot while we were there and there is A/C in the upstairs rooms where the children were sleeping. However the whole house was cool throughout even in the rooms without A/C as long as windows and shutters were closed during the day and open at night. I can’t fault this property, it is beautifully renovated and has everything you could possibly need for a fabulous family holiday. We have stayed in many properties in France over the last 30 years and I can easily say that this was the best we have ever rented."

"Please put more than 2 coat hangers in a cupboard. Breakfast needs improving. Rooms nice and clean with great facilities in the room and really good aircon. Beds are really comfy. Staff very helpful. I would stay here again with no issue."
