Beach was beautiful BUT…

This is not my first stay in this exact VRBO. We have stayed here 3 times. Two in this exact VRBO and once 3 doors down. And I have never written a bad review but here it goes…Beach was beautiful! But for 2200 we deserved much better. The neighbor who LIVES up-stairs is very passive aggressive- the “rinse station”for feet and beach equipment. You must have permission to use her personal hose attached to it! Pictures need to be updated. Not accurate Many light bulbs out and remotes not working.Washer/Dryer for towels needs new rods not working correctly At All. Dryer was good once unbalanced washer finally got done. No instructions of what is expected when you leave.Big rugs left outside on balcony covered in rain water. No network name appears for WiFi so password is useless, 4 days for owner to respond.Never had a bad stay in Pensacola until now BUT beach was beautiful

The location is perfect. The AC is amazing. The beds are very comfortable. The fact that only one key is available is not great, having two would be ideal. I asked for one but never had a response to that question. The fridge doors had food debris around the handles, and one of the shelves flew out and broke into the floor when we opened it. The filter needed to be replaced on the water line, and the light was slowly burning out. The microwave, stove, and garbage disposal didn’t function at all. The washing machine in the garage didn’t appear to actually wash anything , just added water and sat there and rinsed. Throughout our three night stay, we encountered three cockroaches. One on the second floor fully grown, and two babies in the kitchen. There were not enough towels for our stay. The sinks in the primary bathroom only had one functioning light bulb per sink, one out of four available. The floors hadn’t been cleaned in a while and there was dust behind quite a few furniture items and walls etc. This place could be incredible but needs some TLC badly.

Okay but misleading

Communication with host was awful. Condo was overall clean but had a very strong Musty smell. Washer and Dryer are NOT in the condo they are in a garage outside. MICROWAVE does NOT work TV in the room with Bunk beds did NOT work Broken shelves in the refrigerator couldn’t be used. Missing/not working lights Had to buy cookie sheets to cook in oven Hole in the wall and broken light fixtures Location was ok Pros- short walk to the beach Cons- far from any shops/restaurants not in walking distance No way to rinse off outside We did not receive any kind of check out instructions. Unfortunately After this stay I would not stay here again.

Location was great

The home is in a great location, disappointed on listed amenities not actually being available such a washer,dryer and microwave. I messaged the host with no response. It was a bummer as we ot would have been cheaper to reheat left overs and some microwave food went to waste. Its in a great location and knowing what i know now if i was to stay again it would be a very different experience. There were broken fixtures and tiles as well as hole in the wall.

Was there for 3 weeks in Feb. was OK, but it is over priced. NO bugs, comfortable beds,and clean. Guess you could say it was only OK.

Great location and stay!

Townhouse was 1 block from beach (5 min walk). Glad we were past the hotels and crowds. It was great to grill and dine on the back patio.

Delightful

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! We travelled with our two service dogs and three young kids, and it was the perfect amount of space. The pond out back was a great surprise, full of turtles and fish that we LOVED watching. The walk to the beach was close enough to not even need shoes, and the front courtyard was magical with a little potted garden and a disco ball that lit up in the sun in the most magical way. Very pet friendly, and nice, comfy couches! Air conditioner was AMAZING, and kept us cool and comfy. Neighbors and community were wonderful, laundry was easily accessible and worked well. Beds were very comfy! Some negatives: This is not a "homey" rental. It is definitely dog friendly, which means no rugs, etc. When we arrived, it smelled a bit musty, and the cleaning left some things to be desired. There was a rat trap laying randomly on the floor (yikes), half eaten things in the fridge, and mold in the coffee pot. The broom was also broken, so I had to get my own so I could clean throughout the week. We also had to supply our own trash bags, soaps, etc. The grill is also inoperable, which was a bummer. All in all, we would 100% stay again, just come a bit more prepared knowing now what to expect. The owner was very helpful when I messaged him with questions and even accommodated us with an early check in. Definitely will return with our crew in the future!

Perfect vacation spot!

We definitely enjoyed our stay and loved the location. It was very quiet and relaxing! The townhome was very clean and had all of the essentials we needed to enjoy our stay. We will definitely book this condo again!!!

Friends Trip

We were very pleased with this property. It was clean and close to the beach 5 min walk. It had everything we needed dishes, pans etc. The only thing is I believe the listing said the sofa turned into a bed but it didn't they just reclined. But other than that I would definitely recommend .

No Tv service

We were the for 5 days and had no tv service the whole time. we contacted the owner the first day . someone did come out the 3 day...but turns out it was a friend of his who worked for at&t, and could not help us. We were inconvienced by having to wait for phone calls from at&T and visits. will not rent this place again nor will i recommend it. we got no check in or check out instructions, had to call the owner

Wonderful!

Couldn't ask for a better location, nice condo (fyi: 2 story/stairs) , attentive host, nice neighbors, GORGEOUS beach steps away!! If you want some quiet after activities or being out on the town, this is a great place to stay. Great location to local bars/eats/shopping, etc.. Wonderful area for walking/biking/surfing, etc.. The back deck on the canal is so wonderful, watching the birds & ducks around the fountain turned into a morning ritual. (There's even a "laughing duck"!) Stayed out there a lot! Would always recommend this place to anyone wanting a great stay in the area & close to Pensacola. We stayed for about 3 weeks, while looking for a long term rental. When our time ran out, Mark (the owner/host) allowed us to book his efficiency across the way; even though he was doing some annual maintenance work, he was gracious to allow us to book it during the rest of the holidays! We were so lucky, having a host like Mark (plus, he's "good humored & funny", too)! Don't miss out on this place - You'll be happy you came!

Had a wonderful time. Next door neighbor could keep their dogs on a leash and their cat paid me a visit about 10 times a day. Guess some people just don’t care.

Love the pond!

This was a very good property, it was clean and comfortable. Short walk to the beach and a fantastic time of the year, end of October, to stay on the beach, Pet friendly which was the most important feature to us. The pond has ducks, turtles and fish! so much fun to feed them. The small bedroom was cramped for two adults but we made do. We will stay again!

Disappointing, but manageable

Cons: Safety hazards; exposed broken outlet in kids room (i swapped the cover from another to be kid-safe), steep unfinished floor drop-offs to the bedrooms w/no thresholds that we tripped on, busted fridge drawers, upstairs shower leaks all day after use, sink handles are backwards, downstairs tile has big divots everywhere, stair railing wobbles & has 2/5 screws in each the top & bottom, shower & outdoor sliding doors aren’t leveled so they all catch when sliding, dining chairs are gross with rusty buttons, no coffee table (the one pictured in the listing is gone) master bedroom closet is missing a door, loose screws in several bedroom drawers, sharp wood pieces under bunk bed, bunk bed is dirty & unsafe, big gash in kids room walll by bunk beds, nasty liquid residue under both bedroom vents on the walls, no working remotes for kids room, several light bulbs out, had to ask via text for check in info right before arrival after multiple requests via vrbo. Pros: relaxed (no rules provided), beach proximity, quiet area, lagoon out back with ducks & turtles to feed & watch, location, washer/dryer, garage has beach stuff & bikes to use, parking (very short walk to unit)

Good location

Property could use updating, new furniture and a deep cleaning, however, it was certainly usable, plenty of towels, most things you would need in the kitchen and a great location. About 3 minute walk to the beach, 2 1/2 miles from the business area. It did have a musty smell, but we opened the doors and let the air in, no problem after that. We would stay again

Myself and my Granddaughter stayed for one week. Accommodations were great! Pet friendly and a short walk to the beach. We will definitely stay again if we go back to Pensacola. The host is easy to get a hold of and gets right back with you.
