Friendly staff, comfy seats outside rooms and by the pool to sit and read, spacious room but small bathroom, plenty of wardrobes and drawers for your clothes. Expensive hotel though so tip for not blowing your whole budget in one day: have very tasty breakfast at Bagels and Brews (front lawn, weekdays only) and dinner at Clarabelles (pizza restaurant out front, book beforehand because it's busy).

Loved this garden style hotel. Close to everything except the beach which was a 1.5 mile walk. Service was good except breakfast servers were a bit slow and with a 17% built in gratuity I was expecting more.

The location was perfect, close to Hamilton buses, ferry and restaurants. The hotel is charming but there is nowhere to walk or sit (like a lobby), mainly outdoors. Overall we liked the hotel but there is definitely room for improvement, especially considering the price. There was almost never anyone at reception. The text messaging system was left unanswered. We are not demanding ppl at all but we were lacking some basics very often, which shouldn't be. They are supposed to provide complimentary water. We stayed 1 week and had our room done 3 times but they almost never replenished water and when we asked for some, it was always hard to find. They also never provided hand towels! We had to ask each time (thankfully we reuse the same towels a couple of days), otherwise this would have been so painful. The room cleaning was inconsistent. Some put a liner bag in the trash, others didnt. In the beginning we had no sheet under the comforter, one day someone added a sheet. One time they put a regular sheet on the mattress instead of a fitted sheet and it kept coming out all night. Check in felt rushed with minimal info provided. Need a better tea selection in the rooms (only English breakfast). We ordered Clarabell pizza and the hotel was supposed to call us when it was ready but they didn't so we ended up with a cold pizza. Overall it was missing that sense of belonging/warmth. We appreciated the afternoon snacks in the dome which came as a surprise since no one toldus atcheckin

We stayed three nights in mid-August 2025 to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. I am not sure which was better, the hotel staff or the property. Both were superb! The breakfasts were excellent. So too was the on-site pizza restaurant.

Beautiful historic hotel in downtown Hamilton. Service is outstanding. Everyone extremely friendly and helpful. Parts of the grounds are under renovation.

Outstanding service and kind people

This was the first hurricane that I had ever experienced and I was so thankful to be at the Rosedon during the storm. They were fabulous at keeping us informed and didn’t waste a minute to start cleanup and make sure that we were all comfortable after Humberto left the island. This is about my 12th day at the Rosedon and I am headed back again in a couple weeks. Fabulous hotel with amazing people.
