"Room was clean and tidy. Bed was comfy. As I was staying for work, it would be nice to have breakfast available earlier than 7am, but this certainly wouldnt stop me booking again."

"Convenient and plenty of off road parking. Slight hick- up initially as unable to enter front door. Phoned 2 numbers which were suppied on door but no answer. Eventually realised we had missed the star character off the number. Lovely room with plenty of tea and coffee. Slight issue with hot water as unable to get it very hot, lukewarm only so shower a bit tricky and couldn't find a non slip bath mat. Really enjoyed our stay though, overall great value for money"

"A lovely clean room.....staff were very friendly and helpful...breakfast was fresh and good. Bar was busy with very friendly customers. We traveled down from Scarborough for football v Buxton...after the game the bar was very busy but the home supporters made us very welcom."

"We had a fantastic stay, the host was super and informative. The room was large and bright with a huge compfy bed. We had an excellent nights sleep. Breakfast was mammoth and really tasty. It’s a short walk into town so really well located too. We will definitely be back! "

"Elegant building, excellent central location, peaceful surroundings, nice views, comfortable bed. One kitchen cupboard was so high that we couldn't reach any small glasses or the cafetiere - had to make do without - even using the steps provided (and we are of average height). Cleaners brought stained towel at changeover day, and left long hairs on our bed when they changed the bedding. But in spite of this we enjoyed our stay."
