Staying here felt like stepping into history. The whole monastery is full of art and beautiful architecture, with old wooden doors, hallways and a layout that feels like a small castle. Super quiet and relaxing and on a sunny day the property looks incredible. Staff were friendly and spoke English too, which made things easy. Highly recommend if you want something historic and different
Excellent hotel. Had parking inside for a few cars, the room was fantastic, the bathtub deep and very nice, the dinner was excellent snd breakfast had everything we needed.
One of a kind, unique retreat to feel closer to the divine, whatever your beliefs. A journey through history, a lesson of the inevitable encounter of the Old and the New Worlds. Exquisite attention to detail and genuine care for their guests. Attentive, discreet, efficient, their staff is superb. And how not not mention their swimming pool, a little piece or paradise in that monastical retreat.
Rafael's lessons in history, Azahara's lessons in outstanding service, I only wish I could remrmber the names of each and everyone of those who went well beyond their call of duty to make and unforgettable experience during our stay. Mia and I promised in matrimony in that holy shrine. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Beautiful old historic building. Unique atmosphere. A little off the main motorway but well worth the drive. Staff very friendly and nice long pool to relax around.
