"The property is AMAZING! Beautifully private and lush land with plenty of space to roam, play disc golf, horseshoes, walk the dogs, paddle board, basketball, and enjoy the wildlife. The house was wonderful. So much space and really well laid out. We had more beds than we needed for our 12 family members and wanted for nothing! There is a game room with pool, ping pong, and a toy chest with games.The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, microwave, oven, free standing ice maker, multiple coffee makers, dishwasher, double wide fridge with a lower freezer. All the cabinets are conveniently labeled and there was plenty of empty space for storing the food we brought. We ate at home for each meal and loved the outside grill and cooking surface, bonus!!! The beds were very comfortable and the added portable fans in each room made the warm temps more than tolerable. There are several bathrooms, outdoor hoses for rinsing off before coming in from the lake, and a washer/dryer. The living room has ample seating with a big screen TV, satellite, and a DVD player. We brought our old DVD libraries and watched some classics. The room has the perfect ambiance for movie watching! The ceiling beams are stunning. I have reviewed properties previously but never had the pleasure of rating a place we enjoyed more.Denise, thank you for everything, a great property and excellent customer service!"

"We had a wonderful time. It is a great place to relax and unwind and enjoy the company of your family. The kitchen is well equipped with the necessities to prepare meals.The deck is a great place to read, eat and experience the outdoors.The game room is a fun place to hang out.I would recommend this rental home to friends and family.This was our second time at the property.Don't hesitate, if you're thinking about renting, just do it."

"This is wonderful property! It is truly a rustic charmer. It is incredibly clean. The wifi works well. The house has amenities like washer/dryer, fireplace, AC, air purifier and a gorgeous deck. The communication from the host was prompt, clear, and friendly. I definitely plan to book this lovely cabin every year."

"The Davies Family Inn is an extraordinary bucolic destination, nestled in the solitude of the pines of the Sierra Nevada foothills. It features beautifully manicured grounds surrounding a cluster of picturesque log cabins. For those seeking solitude in nature, or a simple getaway from the city, this gem of a property places you in the perfect setting for a romantic rendezvous, intimate family gatherings, or a large celebrations. We were blessed to spend two splendid days and snug nights in Betty’s cabin, where the warm and comfy amenities and rustic flourishes placed us in another time and place. Views of the grounds and surrounding mountains were inspiring. And the dark night skies (devoid of any light pollution) were ablaze with more stars visible than in any other setting so close to the city. We came to visit family, but found our new, personal Shanghai La that is already calling us back! For a naturally beautiful respite, there’s nothing like the Davies Family Inn!"
