"I have stayed here in the past. It’s a beautiful, modern and clean Hotel. Great location! Walking distance to Gaslamp Quarters, Convention Center and Seaport Village. What I didn’t like is the pool in our tower was shut down for renovation. The 2nd pool in the 2nd tower was overly full with guest."

"The staff and the property were excellent as usual. Of course, this is what you should expect from the premiere hotel in Hollywood. Not much going on except for the Bachata event that was held at the hotel. It was very nice and included some great dance music. There was some after hours partying that took place after the buster brought me back to the hotel. I was tired and let them know. They of course dispersed. Only issue I really have is the amenities. For instance, the water machine in the gym is crap! It doesn't work. Hence, I procured at least 250 mini water bottles from the front desk during my stay. Also, I liked the idea of having a pool party for the Bachata event. However, alcohol, dancing, and kids do not mix. The pool area was way too small for event attendees and hotel guests to share. Apparently, you can have any brew you want as long as it contains pool water. Kids and their splashing made the consumption of Corona rather difficult. Nonetheless, we continued to party. I do it for family. Look, I live my life a quarter mile at a time. Nothing else matters: not the mortgage, not the store, not my team and all their stuff. For those ten seconds or less, I'm free. Even though Hector is going to be running three Honda Civics with spoon engines, I still found time to enjoy all that the Loews and Ovation had to offer."

"I highly recommend this Hotel. It’s clean and organized. Love that they have the water dispenser and beach towels. Toothbrush toothpaste, slippers, bag available for use. The room is big and the balcony view was awesome. Lots of storage spaces, drawers and cabinets. We returned from a long day with a clean room. It’s very convenient to shopping and food stores and right across the beach which is awesome. As far as the staff, I get they’re probably tired of the tourists asking questions but I feel that they can be friendlier and better customer service. But overall I would book here again."
