The chateau is beautiful and in the most stunning location. Lara and Nirin are the perfect hosts and made all the guests feel incredibly welcome. The food was magnificent. Could not recommend more!

Chateau Gastronomic

Fabulous welcome from Lars with his animated description of the Valley. The views were amazing - what a beautiful place to stay. We slept in the Swedish room with a perfect hot walk in shower. We also had dinner at the Chateau and Lars attention to detail and flavours were simply perfect! We would thoroughly recommend the Chateau & definitely stay for your evening meal x

Schöner kann man sich eine Unterkunft nicht mehr vorstellen. Wir waren Gäste auf einem Schloss und wurden auch so verwöhnt. Der Gastgeber ist ausgesprochen freundlich. Wir hatten auch das Dinner bestellt, welches hervorragend war. Das Zimmer war fantastisch, sehr groß und mit einem wundervollen Blick über das Loiretal. Unsere Fahrräder konnten wir sicher unterstellen. Nochmals vielen Dank an den Gastgeber für den ausgesprochen schönen Aufenthalt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Charmant petit château

Magnifique demeure dans la campagne nantaise avec vue grandiose sur la vallée de la Loire. La chambre est grande bien décorée dans des tons pastel et très calme. Superbe séjour

Un séjour parfait dans un lieu parfait. Nos hôtes ont été au petit soin pour nous tout le week-end. La chambre était superbe et la vue du château tout simplement magnifique. Le petit déjeuner valait également le coup ! Si vous souhaitez rajouter un repas du soir, surtout n'hésitez pas, il était délicieux. Nous conseillons !

Great place to stay!

A great place to stay overlooking the Loire Valley. A large room with a king-size bed. Really comfortable bed with teŕific linen - best bed we've slept in ever in a hotel/accommodation. Our hosts were excellent and full of information about the area. Breakfast was beautiful with homemade jams, bread and farmer's butter. The area was quiet and safe. We'll be back. Highly recommended.

Five stars!

We were so lucky to find Château Haute Roche. It was a privilege to stay in such a beautiful private home and to be looked after so well. We were greeted warmly, made to feel very welcome and dined like royalty at both dinner and breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed the company of the owners and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Perfect stay!

One of the best stay at Lars, everything was thought off for the guest satisfaction. The evening meal was so delisious that cooked by Lars, from the local market ingredients. Likewise, the breakfast.. The hosts were so wonderful. We will always remember this stay and already planned for the future one, we are going back there in September. Thank you

Whether you are seeking superior accommodations or a romantic dream like experience in the Loire region, the Chateau Haute Roche is your superior choice. From the moment you arrive you are transported back in time as you enter the circular drive of this classic castle. Your host Lars greets you, informs and orients you to this historic place, and shows you to your beautifully furnished room. The view of the properties gardens and Loire Valley are breathtaking, spectacular! The Loire Valley view is gorgeous, pastoral cows and wild deer can be seen in this classic landscape. As there are only three Guest rooms the experience feels very private and personal. Great care is given by your hosts to insure your comfort.The Chateau has been impeccably renovated with regional fine art pieces and fine furnishings. The level of quality is luxurious. The mansion's gardens are lovely, the setting quiet, serene and peaceful. Lars is a life long chef whose experience appears once you sit at his table. In the morning you are served a delicious locally sourced breakfast (included!) and Lars offers a epicurean 4 course private dinner (highly recommended!).Both of your hosts, Lars and Nirin, are passionate about making the quality and experience of your stay five star. Lars is extremely knowledgeable about the history of the Chateau, the Oudon and Loire area, and of the best experiences and restaurants the region has to offer. A memorable experience, if I could give it more than 5 stars I would.

A Gem

A fantastic gem along the Eurovelo 6 just outside of the small village of Oudon. Serene, tranquil spot with vistas out toward Nantes and end, or beginning, of the Loire Valley. A very welcoming and beautifully appointed home run by charming and delightful proprietors, Lars and Nieri (sp?), who are fonts of local knowledge and gracious and interesting and charming hosts. And Lars makes a beautiful breakfast as well. A delightful stay in every way—one of the best stays in 800+ days sent cycling the globe. A true gem.

Super séjour.

Se fût pour une nuitée mais je reviendrais c'est sûr. Photos conforme à la prestation, super accueille, très belle bâtisse et beau parc, les deux très entretenus. Explication sur l'histoire du château et ses environs, cuisine maison, jusqu'au pain du petit déjeuner, qui en plus d'être très bon est très copieux ( confitures et salade de fruit maison, œuf à la coque, ...). Bref, le moment vous appartient, la gentillesse et le professionnalisme du propriétaire un vrai bonheur.
