I waited a week to post this review to see if both my deposit refund and promised $50 credit (as an apology) would be processed—neither were. I called ahead to arrange a birthday stay and to assess the hotel for future personal and employee trips. I was assured a quiet, high-floor room and late checkout. Upon arrival:
-Took 30 minutes to get me checked in despite no one else being there
– No birthday greeting, no VIP perks acknowledged, and no upgrade offered.
-Supervisor didn’t even acknowledge my existence..no greeting no “hello” nothing.
– Placed on a low floor next to a noisy, coughing guest.
-Pool had debris and dirt floating inside…and plenty of Ants all around.
– Asked to be moved; was told I’d have to pay extra—despite Expedia Gold status.
– Eventually moved (same room type), but with no assistance.
– Charged a second $100 deposit WITHOUT MY CONSENT!!!!! —later blamed on “human error.”
– Gym had no wipes (empty dispenser); I requested 3 times and was handed Kleenex once.
– Room cleaning was minimal—bed changed, but no vacuuming or surfaces cleaned.
– Repeated requests for 5 large towels yielded only 2 or 3.
– “Complimentary” Voss water switched to cheap plastic bottles after day one.
If you just need a place to shower and sleep, it’s fine. But if you expect thoughtful service, follow-through, and basic hospitality standards, this isn’t the place. I’m left disappointed—not just by the experience, but by the deception and consistency of everything truly going wrong.
