"Our room smelled of cigarette smoke. We requested another and were accommodated. The key card sometimes worked and most times didn’t. The room was fine although the AC seemed to make the room more humid somehow. The bathroom fan didn’t work. There were hotel storage items in the swimming pool area. And vacuum cleaners were stored at the bottom of guest access stairway. Breakfast was very basic. All in all over $442 for two nights was too high of a cost."

"We found bed bugs after the first hour we were in our room. We did get a refund but there were no more rooms. All hotels were booked unless you wanted to pay close to $1,000 for one room in that area. We finally found a place to stay 30 minutes away in another town."

"Very comfortable room and nice hotel . My only complaint is about Expedia! It’s impossible to have a live conversation if you have to make an adjustment to the reservation. The only option is a AI chatbot or a Chat with an agent after working your way through the Chatbot . Better to book directly with Holiday Inn Express. Even then, I couldn’t talk directly to the Hotel and could only talk to the corporate customer service representatives. But at least I could have a real conversation with them."

"Room 135 - mold and scum in bathroom! Need to power wash it and probably others!"

"Great place to stay breakfast was good then room was good. Staff were great as well only issue is the pool is tiny."

"Beautiful building, loved the balcony overlooking the river. Large room, very clean. The bed wasn’t the comfiest and I wasn’t a fan of the bed pillows but all and all loved the design of the hotel and the breakfast was a nice touch. Close to so many things. Sheboygan is such a cute town. We will def stay there again ❤️"
