"Interesting old building, recently remodeled. Watch your head if you’re in the top floor (not sure about the others) Great restaurant! Be sure to ask for local Txakoli wine and check with your waiter for portions - many are good for two people. Make sure to check the traffic light on the way up or down to avoid a complicated passing maneuver"

"Incredible hotel. Flawless design principles. Welcoming hospitality. They’ve thought of everything - and made sure it’s really good. We stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment on the first floor with a huge balcony overlooking the beach just a few metres away for 4 nights in August. It was spacious, comfortable and well-appointed with a usable kitchen, including hob, oven, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Water, beer and juice in the fridge on arrival. The two bedrooms were on either side of a living space, with two showers (both rain) one of which was over a bath, and a separate toilet. The Penhaligon toiletries smelled divine. You could borrow beach towels, deck chairs, body boards, bat and ball game for the beach. Dressing gowns, slippers, flip-flops for the warm and relaxing indoor pool (saltwater). Parking is included - either just outside or in a nearby garage. The restaurant was excellent but quite expensive. The neighbouring restaurant was incredible for lunch but you need to book and they are busy - their hospitality was a little harder won, but the food was amazing. Beautiful design and thoughtful layout made our stay a complete pleasure, as did the helpful and friendly staff. It really is rare to find somewhere put together with such care. I hope we can return."

"We landed at this hotel after our VRBO fell out (confirmed reservation from VRBO, host said they rejected as full so we had to scramble). Very clean and well appointed. Price was a bit high due to the eclipse but VRBO covered the difference so it didnt matter much to us. The one challenge is that you'll def need wifi or phone service to check in (my french service wasnt cooperating). Great location and beautiful old building. Recommended!"

"Building and frontage is looking a bit tired, rooms, parking and reception were fine. More of a business hotel, but easy to get a cab into town and the bus back. Breakfast was good, but the eggs were pre-cooked and cold, every day. Coffee and OJ was excellent."
