This property consists of one spacious large room with 2 double beds, air-conditioning, cable TV, sound system, dining table seating 4 people, wardrobe, with separate kitchen also bathroom, along with free Wi-Fi.

This rental is in the fruited grounds off Villa Patiently Waiting, in the prestigious Mammee Bay Executive Estate with 24 hours security.

Comes fully staffed with a caretaker, housekeeper also a gardener who will be at your assistance whenever you require their services

Beach Passes
Please be advised that beach passes are provided for your convenience during your stay. However, if a beach pass is lost, a fee of $150 USD per pass will be charged. All guests are required to sign an agreement acknowledging this fee upon check-in.

Gate Remote Keys
We ask that you take extra care with the gate remote keys during your stay. If a remote key is lost, a $150 USD fee will be charged. As with the beach passes, all guests will need to sign an agreement confirming their understanding and acceptance of this fee.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Should you have any questions or require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact our team.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Patiently Waiting...the staff certainly have a lot of patience when responding to client's queries. The accommodation and grounds are well-kept and nothing was too much trouble for the site manager...truly dedicated to his role...I extended my stay by a few days...the team made me feel at home ...will be sad to leave. We stayed just for 2 nights in the cottage. Accommodation was clean and tidy and the overall property is generally well kept even as some parts show that the villa is older in character. The villa is very secure, being on the private Mammee Bay Estate with controlled access road and also having secure locked gate at the entrance to the villa. Guests are provided an access card to enter nearby Bamboo Blu private beach, which also has a bar & restaurant. The food there is ok but overpriced for what it is. There are other accommodations at the same villa depending on size of your group. Although we were the only ones there when we stayed ( and so had use of the pool to ourselves!) if other parts of the villa are rented out you'd obviously be sharing the place with other guests - in terms of relaxing by the pool then in this situation, there are limited loungers/chairs. There are 2 hot tub jacuzzis on site though we didn't use them and they would have needed some time to warm up, even though Chris the property manager was more than willing to get one ready for us. Chris stays on site too so if you do have any issues he's usually available to help. Finally, it has to be said that this villa is very good value for money and is pitched just about right in terms of cost and what you get for it.

Great place short walk to beach. You had to share the beach with the big resort guests spilling over from next door but there was always a lounger or spot available. Restraunt in beach had great food. Just a nice spot for some quiet relaxation.

Overall we had a good stay with small kitchenette and hot water. AC and fan. Wifi and tv for use. Safe gated area with lots of parking. Only complaints we had personally were cobwebs in corners, check in process is a little tricky with location, directions, and property manager required us to contact the local representative to tell him we booked the place. Location of property is in nature so there are lots of loud bugs during the night just FYI. Overall a decent stay for 1 night.

My brothers stayed in this cottage as the larger of the family stayed in the main house. It was great being close to everyone. It was as advertised. We hung out mostly at the main house with our extended family. Chris was great! He assisted us with transport, cooking and whatever was needed during our stay.

We found the property to be nice and clean. The only thing we didn't like is having to get in and out of the vehicle to open the gate. The gate is locked at all times with a padlock. We believe it's time to upgrade the locking system. Other than that we we're quite happy. Thank you Chris for your hospitality.

It is really refreshing to be in a natural environment filled with trees, flowers and the cool ocean breeze. The pool and 2 jacuzzi's are just the icing on the cake! Chris is a great host that frequently checks in and is very responsive to any of your needs!

We had a wonderful wonderful time at Patiently Waiting! Chris, the host, was super helpful and was five star in every way! The house was clean but could have been better stocked. If u want to do cooking or eating in, it is a little challenging. We had to buy plastic spoons, coffee filters, paper towels and extra toilet paper. loved the property location. Walked to the beach often and thoroughly enjoyed the oceanfront restaurant there! Pool was super clean and beautiful 😍

The property was a bit hard to find as it doesn’t seem to be locateable by Applemaps, and Expedia did not provide the name of the cottage, which, if it did, is locateable on Apple Maps. Our tour company messed up but Chris, the groundskeeper, came to our rescue by reaching out to his connection, who volunteered to be our driver on his day off. WOW. What luck. Room was a good size, comfortable, and outfitted with everything we needed. Grounds were quiet and well kept. Only other drawback is the keyed gate that u have to get out of your car to unlock and open every time u enter/leave the property; at the same time this is an added safety feature. Would definitely stay there again as it was convenient to the main Highway and restaurants, shopping, and activities/attractions

This was exactly what we were looking for as two females on their first trip to Jamaica. We didn’t want to be on a resort that felt isolated from the surrounding culture, and this place felt as safe as staying on the resort but with a more local feel. It is comprised of several properties in a secure, gated compound so we could feel safe walking through the neighborhood in the evening and talking to fellow travelers staying in places nearby. Not enough can be said about the wonderful caretaker, Chris, who was there to give us info, supply us with goods from the market when we first arrived, and help us get taxis. He was always only a text or call away and was eager to help at any time with a smile and kind Jamaican vibes. If we came back we would certainly stay here again but make sure to bring our own extra toilet paper, shampoo, and trash bags for the room as these are not included.

This listing was as advertised. It was clean and a was only a few minutes drive to the beach. The property manager was very accessible and made sure all needs were met. You will enjoy your stay at this property. I recommend renting a vehicle or hiring a driver if you plan to visit local attractions.
