Excellent experience. Check-in was easy. Kitchen stocked with everything needed to cook for our families. Linens on the bed were high quality cotton. Furniture was quality. Great yard. Quick 3 min walk to beach. Beautiful sunsets from the rooftop deck. Host was great about answering questions. Check out was also easy. We will definitely be back!

Gorgeous house, perfect for our annual get together! We loved the big comfy couch with big wide windows to let in the sunlight- played a lot of board games there and outside on the front deck. The bedrooms were so nice- great mattresses and comfortable bedding. Enough beds for a big group and well set up for families. Having bedrooms on multiple levels even gave extra privacy, so would be really good for traveling with other couples or extended family. Communication was excellent- the hosts really made us feel welcome. The house was spotless, the cleaners do a great job. One of the best rentals I've ever stayed in.

I give this house a 5 stars all around. The inside of the house was beautiful and clean just like the pictures. There was more than enough space for my family of 8. We enjoyed the mini golf and grill area. The property provided everything you needed for the beach and bikes were a plus. We really enjoyed this house and will be back next season to stay with Kristy!

A Great Time of Fun, Family, and Rest at A Wave From It All! My family and I had a wonderful time at A Wave From It All. The house is great. There was room for everyone. The beach is only a few steps away. The neighbors were nice. There is even a Corn Hole Set for those who love some good old competition. This was my second time this year staying here. I highly recommend this home. The owners are super helpful and very nice. I will definitely look to stay here again!

A Wave From it All OIB a fantastic home!

Our family of 12 does an annual beach trip and we're always looking for great beaches to vacation at and A Wave From It All OIB is fantastic! The home is impeccable, well kept, situated in a cute neighborhood directly across from the beach- the house is outfitted with everything you need, including a washer/dryer, and stocked with supplies you might need for the week. There's a Keurig that got a work out from our crew, and we were greeted by a lovely welcome basket filled with "things you might need" the backyard w/the putting green and table tennis along with the cute outdoor TV/Bar area were a big hit with our gang as was the community pool, the star of the show was the beach, and we had a great week of beach time- not one rain day! OIB is a fun beach town, low-key and family focused and there was plenty to do off the beach, and we did it all, including a big family photo session at sunset, a dolphin cruise, and the guys did a 1/2 fishing excursion (a little shark was caught!) the hosts have a book of restaurants and things to do in the area, we did breakfast and multiple dinners in Calabash, Shallotte and North Myrtle Beach, SC (SC is a short drive from OIB) We're already making plans for next year. 10/10 highly recommend. Kristy and Alex are excellent hosts, your family will have the best time!

We just finished up a great week at a ‘wave from it all.’ The home is beautiful and accommodated our family of 13 perfectly! The beach was a short walk and we enjoyed access to the neighborhood pool as well. The outdoor space was a big hit for adults and kids alike.

The most beautiful getaway for a family vacation

Our family has been coming to this area for years and this is by far the best home we’ve stayed in! The place was impeccable upon check in. There was a cute welcome gift on the table and even more “extras” than we knew including things like beach chairs, beach wagon, boogie boards etc. This makes it so much easier when you are flying in and don’t have room to bring all of those items. Even the storage area was organized and clean. The back yard is heaven for all ages! With a putting green, bags, ping pong and more there was something for everyone! Each room has its own bathroom which makes these so much easier when you are traveling with extended family. The bunk room was a huge hit for the 4 kids and was even stocked with games perfect for their ages! Kristy was so easy to contact with questions and checked in on us multiple times. The kids loved to be able to ride bikes around the circle there. The location is perfect because it’s easy to bike to downtown, walk across the street to the beach or to the shared pool. Some of our family was staying in a nearby house with a pool so we didn’t use the shared one but it looked like a nice setup for a change of scenery from the beach. Truly can’t say enough good things about this place. It felt like home for the week and we hope to be back soon!

Beautiful, exposed and quiet

Property fully equipped, supplied for beach fun and meal time. The corner lot is not ideal if you are there to have a good time. Very exposed to everyone walking by, day and night. Hard to keep music within the fence so 10pm noise ordinance was stressful ($1000 fine) Thankful to avoid it. Multiple calls from owner based on neighbors counting the number of individuals they saw or judgment about your time at the rental, added to stress. Trash will not be picked up if lid doesn't completely close and recycle cannot be bagged must be loose in bin or will not be picked up. Fully inspect house upon arrival and take pics incase needed upon departure. It is a beautiful house though.

Fantastic OIB rental

This was our first time staying on OIB! The house was clean, the bedrooms were a great size, the kitchen was well appointed, & the view from the crow’s nest was spectacular. Hope to get back soon.

Best week ever!

Property was clean and felt like home away from home. The bedrooms are separated so you can get away, but great living room area for all of us to hang out. It is in a great location to beach and downtown Ocean Isle. Owners responded quickly to questions. We highly recommend this property!

Amazing house!

Everything about this house was perfect! All the beds were so comfortable, furnishing were top notch, the outdoor space was awesome for adults and children, and it was just a short walk to beach and pool! We have been vacationing to ocean isle beach for the past several years and this was by far the best house we have stayed! The owners were more than accommodating, we will definitely be back!

Very spacious house. There was 14 of us staying at the house for a week with plenty of space to move around and play games. The walking to the beach was quick and easy. We enjoyed the putting green (we actually had a putting tournament), corn hole, ping pong, and cards. Lots of parking, a great bar area and the crows nest was fun search the area with binoculars. The host was very quick to reply with any questions before, during and after our stay. I would definitely go back and stay.

Lovely house overall

The house is lovely with a nice layout. The five bedrooms/bathrooms was exactly what we were looking for. A relatively short walk to the beach (beach access does have steps in case that's an issue for some). We cooked in most nights and the lack of water volume and pressure in the kitchen sink was a drawback for cleaning up. Several nice decks and a great rooftop crow's nest.

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay in this home! It is perfect for multi families and well stocked with kitchen supplies. It was extremely clean and well maintained, conveniently located. We would love to stay there again!
