"I stayed here for a week. The room was very comfortable, but I missed not having any sort of table to eat at or sit and do work. In reality, the size of the room does limit that possibility. But still … However, the lobby was a nice place to sit and get work done. The breakfast had several good options. The kitchen did not have a few of the menu items available for lunch or dinner, so I enjoyed the pizza and Flammekuchen a couple of times during my stay."

"Really convenient location about 5 minutes from Esslingen train station, with 2 supermarkets right around the corner. Nice to have cooking facilities, albeit small. Comfortable bed, strong shower, but sometimes a bad smell coming from the drain. Doors close very loudly, so maybe bring earplugs. The door to the common hallway slams loudly, so request a room at the far end of the corridor. Note: you need a smartphone for this place, as you receive your door code by email at 3 pm to check in, and if you don’t have a wifi signal it can be tricky. I logged on to the public wifi in the shopping mall across the street. You also check out with your phone."

"The staff are so lovely and helpful, the common areas are nice and modern, and the room was very big and had everything I needed. The main let-down was the "gym", it's almost unusable as such because there is about 1m of floor space, no mirror, a rowing machine in the doorway: if even one person is in there then no one else is getting in. I didn't see anyone in there the entire time and I was so determined to use it when I packed but it's basically unusable. With such a large amount of rooms in the hotel it seems crazy to me that a larger space wasn't allocated for an amenity which was really a big pull for me booking this hotel, only to then find out what it was. Breakfast was nice and it was good to have labels on everything and oat milk available, as a vegan it probably wasn't worth 15e a day, and I was so surprised there was no toaster although maybe this is a British thing. I had a comfortable stay in my room and the location was perfect for accessing the theatres, it's just a shame about the few common amenities which lets down an otherwise very nice hotel."
