I had a check-in time that was outside the usual hours. I was greeted warmly, assisted with my bags and shown to my room. Special dietary requirements were personally catered for too. All staff are engaged and properly informed and looking for ways to help. The setting is useful in relation to the motorway, while still being quiet. Beautiful setting. I look forward to returning.

My reception at check-in was great. A pleasant woman upgraded my room to a water view when she learned that it was my first stay at the hotel. My room was clean and spacious. The public spaces are comfortable and well laid out. I enjoyed a fresh cup of coffee in the library that was excellent. The restaurant appears to be top-notch but the price for dinner was not appropriate for my business trip. My breakfast was outstanding in terms of food quality, variety, service, and atmosphere. I will return to this hotel the next time I am on Funen.

I had a great stay. Really nice rooms and very comfortable beds. I had a problem with a squeeky noice in the room, probably from the aircon. As a result I was upgraded to a big Suite (room 402), with a big rooftop terrace with beautiful views of Storebælt. The hotel is classic in design, but really well kept. And the restaurant serves excellent food.

Min mand og jeg havde et par fantastiske dage på Hesselet. Maden var helt vidunderlig lækker. Personalet var sødt og hjælpsomt og man følte sig meget velkommen. Pool området var rigtig fint men vi så ingen derinde og da vi selv gik derind var vandet iskoldt så vi forstod der hvorfor ingen brugte det. Det var virkelig ærgerligt. Morgenbrødet var lækkert men savnede måske lidt mere udvalg f.eks. nutella og acaciehonning. Men ellers var alt bare skønt

Fin, fin morgenmadsmenu. Aftenmadsmenuen derimod noget speciel, da man ikke kan bestille en egentlig hovedret, men er nødt til at bestille et antal småretter. Måske præget af, at man kigger frem til en eller flere Michelin-stjerner, hvor Hesselet er på kandidatlisten. Prisen for et måltid mad er allerede på Michelin-niveau. Ellers et udmærket sted med en flot placering lige ud til Storebælt med Storebæltsbroen i næsten nærafstand.
