"How this hotel has a 4* rating is a mystery!
I’ve just come back from a 2 night stay and was really not impressed. On arrival it looks very grand but all that changes when you get into the tiny, dark decorated rooms. Absolutely nothing like the photos that advertise this place!
A very bad smell kept wafting through the bathroom and a smell of weed in the corridor!

"Lovely hotel. In a fantastic location right by the entrance of Yorkshire Wildlife Park. Worth paying the extra for a room at the back looking out over the Maned Wolves and Lar Gibbons. We loved watching the animals from our room. Beds were comfy, shower was great and the toiletries smelt lovely.

"Excellent site with lots of things to do. The accomodation was clean and very airy. The location was ideal for us as it was near the end of Conningsbury runway which was one of main reasons for our visit. Nice bars, a little pricey, but a good choice of ale's and cocktails.
No late partying which was good. Great location for all of the various visitor sites and airfield's. Good for getting to Lincoln also."
"Great atmosphere and excellent and clean room. Beds only double but adequate. Good breakfast and relaxed environment. Bar staff specially Coco was most cortiouse and polite bar tender ever with exceptional knowledge. Only issue we had was had confusing information or lack of it before checking."
"This hotel is confusing to locate when using a maps app. It goes by 3 different names, which isn ’t helpful.
The in house breakfast, for a fee, was much too expensive for what was available. What was available was not warm( eggs, bacon, etc.) There was no one to assist, and the only coffee option at breakfast available that day was powdered instant. Not good!!!
There were employees ( I think) sitting on the doorstep at the front entrace, smoking and vaping.

"The room was okay, but unfortunately there were stains on the walls and the toilet was hanging off the wall. There were only three pillows for two people, and the robes included with the Executive King Room were ripped and clearly well-used. The bed was comfortable enough, though. The staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful, which was definitely a positive."
