"The hotel is beautiful, and both check-in and valet were efficient and seamless. Also, had a great location downtown for walking. However, there were a few housekeeping and maintenance details that could use some improvement.
Upon checking in, we discovered that our toilet was broken and needed to be repaired, and there was no hand soap in our room. While having breakfast at the restaurant, we also noticed cobwebs on some of the lighting fixtures. None of these things were a huge deal individually, but they did make us question the overall attention to detail.
This is coming from someone who previously worked in hotel management at a Four Diamond resort, so perhaps I notice these things more than the average guest—take my critique with a grain of salt!
All in all, we had a very nice stay, enjoyed the property, and would definitely stay again."
