The staff is incredibly helpful and sweet. The Inn has an old world charm. Feeding the chickens added to the great experience. This is a great place to relax.
Overall our stay was very comfortable. The towels were clean and fresh and the bed and linens were extremely comfortable and nice. We loved the fresh baked cookies on the first night and wished they were provided daily as a nice touch. Soft drinks in the fridge would have been a nice alternative to only juices. Service in the dining room was excellent but breakfast on day 1 was average, however, day 2 was very good. We truly enjoyed our lunch at Pippin Hill Vineyard next door.
The hostess/concierge, Gracie, was very attentive, friendly and cooked some excellent breakfasts. E will definitely return.

The Inn was just lovely. Warm, welcoming and had a great vibe. The staff was attentive and personable. We totally enjoyed our time and will definitely return for another visit.
Our stay was wonderful! Accommodations were beautiful and the breakfast spread was delicious. We usually are not motivated to return to a bed and breakfast, but this one would be worth repeating.
We loved staying at this historic inn! Accommodations were clean and comfy! Staff were excellent with checkin/checkout. Each morning the chef served a delicious breakfast. Will definitely stay again when in the Charlottesville area!
The room was clean and the bathroom was very nice, particularly the shower. The decor of the suite overall was a bit disappointing; pretty sparse, not very inviting.
What a gem! Everything in Charlottesville was so expensive so we widened our search and I am so glad that we did! The Crossroads Inn was amazing. Our room was so cute! We signed up for the dinner with wine pairings from the local vineyard, which was delicious. The breakfasts were so good - super fresh. And they thought of everything - feed to give to the chickens, water and snacks, and chocolates too. The staff was so friendly. If you have the opportunity to stay here, do it! You won't regret it.
We had a lovely stay. We were in town for a wedding at Pippin Hill, which is right next door and very convenient. The staff at The Crossroads Inn were all very friendly and helpful and made our stay carefree.
This is the perfect stay for a quiet, relaxing getaway. We stayed for 3 nights. All staff were super friendly and helpful, the breakfast was amazing, the in and grounds were beautiful and the room was very comfortable. Wonderful hiking, vineyards, and restaurants were a short drive away.
We had a great stay at Crossroads. However, when we checked in we had to wait an additional 1.5 hours for the room to be ready. 4pm checkin already is a little late, so waiting around another 1.5 hours not knowing when the room would be ready was a bit of a pain. It was made worse by Pippin closing at 4pm for a private event, so we basically had to sit around while we waited. They did treat us to a bottle of wine as an apology, which helped make the situation better. All in all, the amenities were great and the room was wonderful.
We really enjoy the place. Great service. Supper breakfast and just an step from Pippin Hill . Great experience!

A unique property conveniently located. Room and bedding was too hot for 90 degree heatwave; a/c was underpowered. Traveling with another couple. No community meeting place and breakfast tables set as 2-tops. One morning there was no food for breakfast & staff had to wait for permission to heat backup provisions. Both rooms had no bath gel replenished. Staff was very personable and worked hard to correct issues.
Calm and quiet. Comfortable bed and pillows. Delicious breakfast on the outside patio. Just next door to a nice winery for tastings. Easy drive into Charlottesville.
The Crossroads Inn was a wonderful place to stay. The accommodations were great and the staff was wonderful. The bonus was Chef Joe. He cooked like a dream and was so personable. We will definitely be back.
We recently spent 4 nights at Crossroads and overall it was quite enjoyable. Beds were very comfortable, rooms were very clean and loved the coffee machine with choices of pods!
We wish there was a refrigerator in the room but one was available downstairs.
It’s a bit tricky navigating the stairs due to the fact that the Inn is old ( 1820) and the stairs back then were small and steep. The grounds are beautiful and it was fun feeding the chickens! We were traveling with another couple and the one complaint we had was that one day there wasn’t enough breakfast food for all the guests. This was not the case on the other 3 days however. Breakfast was varied and tasty otherwise.
The Inn is conveniently located and a short 20-30 minute drive to Charlottesville and the historic homes.
A beautiful, historic, quaint inn located in next to Pippin Hill vineyards. The staff (Matt, Gracie, and Joe) made us feel at home. The food, prepared by Joe, was amazing.
Highly recommended. We will definitely return.
