"Very charming and comfortable stay, practically on the beach, with an excellent breakfast. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. It would have been 5 stars, but I put 4 stars because there was no lift and our room was on the 2nd floor which was difficult for me. I would choose this hotel again, but would request a room on the 1st floor."

"Good location in the city center and close to the boardwalk. The room was small, basic, clean but definitely needs some upgrades, especially the bathroom. No good place to unpack a bag, had to use the bed or the floor. No A/C except for a small fan that was quite noisy, but at least the air flowed a little bit. Staff very nice and accommodating. Breakfast okay, traditional French continental. Parking located on the street right outside, although can be difficult to find during certain times of the day."

"Excellent return stay. Quiet. Easy Secure Parking. 24hr check-in . Ideal for ferry to Portsmouth. Large and comfortable room. Dog friendly. We would recommend without hesitation."

"Lovely hotel very close and convenient to the ferry terminal. The hotel is being renovated so there are some areas that havent been done yet. Our room looked like it had been decorated but some of the facilities are a bit dated but it was clean. The restaurant looks great, really nicely decorated and the food was delicious and reasonably priced."

"We booked this last minute-the day before. We parked on the street. Walked across the road and ate at a restaurant on the sea wall. Bathroom was clean, lots of hot water & pressure. There was a fan in the room which was appreciated. Bed was clean and comfy. Would recommend to stay again. Area felt safe :)"
