"We had a 2 bedroom / 2 ensuite apartment with 180 degree waterfront and beach views. Loved the sound of the rolling waves on the shore, but sadly a few hoons used the road in front as a drag strip. The apartment furniture was a little dated, but bathrooms and bed were top notch. It was also immaculately clean. Less than a 10 minute walk to the Russell ferry and shops. Superb friendly welcome with advice what to do in the surrounding area and was so accommodating. Quiet season (winter) but...

"Sonya was lovely and welcoming. The cabins were simple but clean and tidy and had what we needed. Lovely fresh sheets and new duvee.We had sweet little calves in the paddock who were happy to come and say hello. We bought our food to cook. So used the big bbq. We could have done with some big knives but the small streak knives worked. And possibly a toaster for breakfast would have been good, but we stayed camping style and used the bbq.
