"Our stay at the New Inn 1730 was only overnight, and we arrived around 6pm on a Sunday evening. This is a welcoming & friendly pub, with restaurant and accommodation. The owner did his best to accommodate our needs during our short stay, and is still finding his feet a little having only recently taken on the business. "Just returned from a fantastic stay at Chestnut Villa. The room was simply beautiful, spacious, in great condition and spotlessly clean. It had great amenities, also. Everything you could need was provided in the room. The area itself was stunning and our view was exceptional. I think any of the rooms in the house would have a fantastic view as the house was surrounded by beautiful peaks and the gorgeous Herdwick sheep - just a perfect vista to wake up to early morning.
