"The check-in process was a nightmare. We were left standing on the street trying to gain entry to the building, which is located in a noisy intersection across from a municipal facility. The area did not feel particularly appealing, and there were no amenities—no restaurant, no services, and no designated parking. There was nothing about the property that felt luxurious.
Despite having prepaid for two nights (with only a 50% refund available if canceled five days in advance, otherwise non-refundable), we were never able to access the apartment. We ran into repeated issues processing my credit card for incidentals while standing outside. Although the customer service representative was polite, it took several calls to try to resolve the issue.
After about 30 minutes of waiting on the street, we gave up, returned to our car, and found a nice hotel instead. While driving to our new reservation, the representative called back to say the issue had finally been resolved and we could now access the apartment—but by then, we were no longer interested. In hindsight, we’re glad we chose not to stay there."
