You don’t pay much for this hotel—but unfortunately, you get what you pay for. While we’re not usually ones to complain, our experience was poor enough that we felt the need to warn future guests.
Upon arrival, we were checked into an upgraded room, only to be told shortly after to repack and move back to our original room, which felt disorganized and unprofessional. Outside the entrance, a shy yet aggressive dog was constantly present, which made coming and going uncomfortable.
Noise was a major issue—loud jazz music played until 11 PM, and the barking dog added to the disturbance. This was especially frustrating since many guests aim to wake early for hot air balloon rides. Despite asking twice, the staff failed to address it adequately.
The rooms were hot, small, and dirty. With no working AC, we had to leave the door open—unfortunate, since our room was beside the housekeeping area. Privacy was poor, the bedding uncomfortable, and the blanket didn’t even cover the bed. The bathroom was unclean and impractical, with a suspicious jar on the floor that resembled urine and a shower curtain that repeatedly fell.
Staff were clumsy and unprofessional, and we witnessed the host confront a guest about a negative review—an uncomfortable and unprofessional interaction. Overall, the stay was unpleasant and not restful. We’d recommend looking elsewhere.
