Skogsbu, a new cabin from 2025. High standard, perfectly located for activity and relaxation. Next to the cross-country trails and biking paths – and only 500 meters from the ski slopes with Scandinavia’s most impressive chairlift.
Winter: Step into your skis right outside the door and glide straight into miles of cross-country trails. The alpine resort is within walking distance.
Summer: Explore Nesfjellet’s great biking and hiking opportunities, or relax on the terrace with a mountain view.

The space
Upon arrival, you’ll find a spacious parking area with room for 2–3 cars. Step onto the beautiful terrace, furnished with cedarwood lounge furniture and a fire pit – the perfect spot for long evenings under the stars. Cozy sheepskins are provided to make it even more inviting.

Ground floor
Inside, a bright and open living room with kitchen awaits. Relax on the large corner sofa, sink into one of the armchairs, or gather in front of the Smart TV. The fireplace adds both warmth and atmosphere. The dining table seats 8 guests – ideal for shared meals and memorable evenings.
The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, induction hob, fridge/freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, crockery, pots, and wine glasses – everything you need to prepare a great meal. Of course, there’s also fast wifi.

Bedroom 1: Double bed (160x200), two duvets, pillows, bedside tables, wardrobe, blackout blind.

Bedroom 2: Family bunk bed (120x200 lower + 90x200 upper) with duvets and pillows, night light and shelf with coat hooks.

Bathroom 1: Modern bathroom with shower, toilet, and sink.

Bathroom 2: Separate toilet with sink.
Hallway: Tiled with underfloor heating, shoe rack, coat stand, and staircase to the loft.

Utility room: Washing machine with dryer function.
First floor / loft

Upstairs, you’ll find a cozy lounge with a sofa that easily converts into a double bed with duvets and pillows.

Loft bedroom: Two single beds (90x200), each with duvet and pillow.
The upstairs bedrooms are carpeted and equipped with heating panels.

Practical info
Some duvets and pillows contain down.
Bring your own bed linen and towels, or rent a complete set.
The cabin is equipped for up to 8 guests.

Winter
Nesfjellet Alpin currently offers 6 lifts and 14 slopes, a ski and snowboard park, floodlit pistes for night skiing, and everything you would expect from a modern ski resort. The base station is located at approx. 730 m, while the Panorama lift takes you up to around 1115 m.

In addition, there are 150 km of prepared cross-country trails. A comfortable 8-seater chairlift quickly takes you up to 1068 m – the perfect starting point for long mountain tours. The trail network is also connected to the Eventyrløypa, a legendary route across the Hallingdal mountains from Norefjell to Ustaoset.
Just 10 minutes from Nesfjellet Vest lies Nystølkroken, one of Norway’s top cross-country areas, offering both sheltered trails below the tree line and magnificent high-mountain terrain up to 1300 m.
For shorter trips, there are groomed tracks on the golf course, with the Golf Café open all winter – a cozy starting or finishing point for your outing.
Nesfjellet also has its own ski shop, where you can buy or rent all kinds of skis, clothing, and equipment. You can have your skis prepared like the pros and take lessons – whether you’re a beginner, want to try something new, or simply improve your skills.
Skistua is the social hub of the winter season: enjoy a quick snack between runs, a nice dinner with family and friends, or join quizzes, music bingo, gourmet evenings, and many other events during the peak season.
Twice a week until April 1st, you can ski under the lights on three slopes plus the park – included in your day pass or available with a separate evening ticket.
For kids, there is a safe and fun children’s area with two green runs, two lifts, a wide beginner slope, and a small “fun park” with easy, playful features.
Summer
In summer, this holiday home is the perfect base for a wide range of activities:
